I'll upload the latest version of c40 I have to some random site and send you the link for it, I'll include the script file aswell. As for the rest (scenario tag e.t.c.) you can rip those. My flood tags will probably be in it aswel. Which includes the shielded versions, so no need to to re-make those.
I'm liking the visual effect ideas though. Good job.
As for the scenery, try and get the opened varient of the c_storage, as it would be good for c10. For those of you that dont know, the Covenant were using c10 as a weapon storage area due to its security (lockable doors e.t.c.)
I finished up on the first bsp of c10 last night, and Gamma's working on c40's second last bsp recently.

You mean those covie weapon racks? yea I'll convert those Another idea could be volumetric light, some scenery objects like on C20 i think has volumetric light attachements, it's funny how we can 'fake' the engine to make it look like the effect is really there xD another thing, I'm working on Physics for Scenery WITHOUT making them vehicles like I mentioned before in other projects, this isn't forge so I don't/shouldn't have to fiddle about that, however if that won't work I'll still make em vehicles, but thing is, I happen to have made 1 object 'interactable' but I'm not really sure what I did, so I'll look into that later again, as it would be really cool to be able to just bash some scenery that's in your way, it would aswell make fun challanges like, puzzels or stacking boxes to get higher, or fill a gap to get accros... oh god i'm talking like some educative game producer D= well nvm the ideas that come with interactable objects, I'm just going to look into that so that objects are moveable like in halo 2, hoping I didn't used vehicles for that single object, wich I stopped using for a reason, I hope not =P Eye for detail, machinima and projects go well together, they both want to look good well time to go now, I'll prolly see your pm tommorow, download it then, and be able to post screenies the day after, wow week is going fast hah Edited by BeachParty clan on Mar 17, 2009 at 08:44 AM

hey i have an idea for this, is it possable that you can make it like halo 3 so if there are corpses or live people get infected by the infection forms, they turn into combat forms infront of your eyes, instead of when you get infected, you just die.

Already being done, in a controlled manner however, and not as 'free-going' as in Halo3.

Technically for the Blam! engine its not possible, but as handy little script work-around does a pretty good Halo 3 mimic. Note: This obviously isn't a perfect Halo3 copy, so dont expect it to be.

Flood matter cant just spontaneously be created in the armor. There has to be a source of mass, than just metal and a infection form.

Wont be really good... The armor of the hunter isnt linked, only by the worms.
they cant be infected because there are just to many of the worms, yet, they can be killed by the flood super cell, but then each single worm will die/mutate, losing the ability to work together, as the flood deletes this minds.

Yea, dat's what I'm talkin' 'bout. There's bug particles in one of the campaigns that'd be a good basis *makes* Damn...Ok HUD update, I've had TOO much time yesterday, so I remade the Halo 3 HUD's (spartan and elite) for HOURS by hand with a ton of reference =P However you'll only need the Elite one, since I thought we're only going to play as elite... *sob* well atleast I had a very fun time in photoshop =P Regular: When low on health: When you pick up a health pack again, the colour changes back to normal flood colour =P When receiving damage: oh uh, I just noticed I forgot to change the damage bitmaps I made with the flood bitmaps i made, I'll make a screenshot of that for tommorow. well it blurs, that's the point =P Do note, I implented the script to make your screen blur when you're hit, aswell at each heartbeat when you're low on health, just like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, that means, I can't use a constant blur as you won't notice the blur of damage lol, so overlay and health blur it is. Note, I don't have the elite visor outline done yet, and as you can see I still have to make new weapon meters, aswell as make new gametype icons, however I don't know where they're set, they're not in the unit hud interface etc, i really looked hard =P but just replacing the bitmaps gives warnings on compiling, it works, but I don't want warnings, so I'd like to know where it's set. for now i'll make a placeholder with gore icons lol So, I'll get some better footage now on the maps, thanks for the PM lone i'll check it out when I'm home. Oh and, I hope to see those (H2?) Flood FP arms soon My tags are just... too custom, almost nothing is left of the original halo tags lol kk time to hit the road and finish the hud, cya tommorow again Edited by BeachParty clan on Mar 18, 2009 at 09:36 AM

Quote: --- Original message by: Hotrod That's actually really nice, though I think that the green part that surrounds the screen takes up a little too much of your vision, which will be bad for gameplay. I suggest maybe giving the player a bit more clearness to see through, but still keep the flood-ness of it. ^ and darken the red(When low on health) a lil' bit, 1st, it may irritate the player when hes/hers low on health and the bright red may make the player more panicky*. 2nd, ingame, the flood are suicidal and wont very much care about their health, they'll just charge right into the battle.*coughandgetkilledcough*. So a bright red danger sign may not fit very well in a flood theme.* :/ *this two might be the reason why you made it like that. If it is, sorry.

Also, Flood Hunter, possible to have an hunter armor with biomass in it yes. Also, biomass can grow anywher,e it grew on High Charity's mass, and in the Library. (For those that do not know,t hat is how the Flood originally spread out of quarantine after the Covenant and UNSC arrived, through Flood spores creating biomass in the Library.)
