It would walk okay on flat ground, like the scarab on extinction, but not on slopes.

It just won't look good. Go renable the shade turret walking, you'll see what i mean.

I've made a hog that climbs nearly 90 degrees. Low center of gravity (heavy wheels), ground normal k0 & k1=1 so it doesn't slow at all on slopes, and a low enough friction that it doesn't do a wheelie while climbing.
As for un-even surfaces, suspension can help with that.

Done ripping halo 2 flood, wasn't needed but i came across that when re-playing halo 2 (yuk, damn save data)

Also, you all commented about the head being too high, yes it's logical since the methan tank would increase in size, not the body, so i took that in consideration
any suggestions other then putting it back to the original place...?

When I see human flood forms in h2, I'll be sure to tell you =P



Also, the elite flood have armor at random, makes me think they use the armor parts as permutations to make them appear randomly, one has this fallen off other has that... so if i make them seperate models, I can make it look more 'unique', wich gives a less boring look

Aight, I finally got them, and I textured it aswell as you can see. So, what's our next big step?

can you write a tutorial on that? i want to make something similar to that.

Well he said he had to play through Halo 2 to get the models, so I was implying that he might have used 3dRipperDX. Since if you extract with 3DRDX, they extract in the position they are in at the moment of capture. If he would have extracted using Entity, they wouldnt have been rigged and in that position. Unless he already rigged them and took the time to put them in that position.

Does anyone have any crit that can 'help' BP make the carrier form look better, or are you all just gonna say its ugly?

Well, being flamed from all sides I'm going to say it once again

I like to do it my way, and I prefer Dxripper, don't point out it's bad or to use another tool, if you suck with it, that's too bad.

I take several shots, some in ragdoll, wich is sometimes handier for me to rig, period.

Don't start this useless discussion to spam a dozen pages about it, This way for Me Not another.

Also, I ripped the heretics, as some variants would be nice, I'm not pushing it, but since they're the same units, maybe put it in for the variation?

also, i found... no i edited... a heretic grunt to make one maskless, as i would never get something from here, I rendered my own without mask.



Also, sorry for the previous render of the h2 flood elite/human, those were ripped at low quality, thus the low poly count... I got the high quality versions but yet have to render it



Also, what do you guys think about my permutation method for armor variation for the flood?

When you've got the model in-game, go to the gbx model and model animations file, and check randomly chosen in the permutations section, this way you'll have a great variation of flood units.

The H2 Flood looks sweet, but isnt the elite a bit thin? Because i dont remember thin combat forms in H2...

Hmm that Explains alot...

Are there any plans for any new videos/playable content? or even a date of release?

Because you know, im a huge fan of the flood, especially im fascinated with the infect-expand-infect-expand Idea of the flood, wich you are managing in this campaign.

You also mentioned that you are going to give us the information to do such scripts, but are those scripts easy to implement?

I mean, is it just Copy paste the script from a seperate document or really alot of knowledge of scripting..?
