Ok, and I agree with Gamma's post at the top of this page, less usless posting (I'm talking to myself aswell :D ) and more posts on the campaign, remember we'll be accepting 'sensible' ideas.

I'll be working more on c40 today anyway, hope to have another bsp finished by the end of today.

I've been limited to an hour a day on the Computer, so a bsp and half a ton of scripts are the only things I'll be able to do everyday. Plus, I also have other stuff to do, like my own things. Thinking I'm only going to be working on this project with my computer time is a pretty stupid thought.

When I get back today, I hope to get a good bit of work done anyway, so hopefully, either me or BP will be uploading pictures today.


And throwing things into maps? Well bP has been working on the textures, me and Gamma are working on the scenario files and scripts. L28 is working on the fp anims, and now Mythril is working on some models. So, dont go making an opinion next time, without at least asking what were doing. I wont mind if you do.

Little problem with BSP switches, but for the rest, i'm halfway on all the flood textures.

Blargh, i was 3 hours late this morning so i havn't ran my screenshot session on the insiders map yet, but i just made a screenshot of my new carrier texture, nothing too dramatic but more improved:

on the biped at the left, you can see veins on its head like thing. not really noticable from the front

Anyways. Update: Flood infection textures in-game. Same goes for Elite and Carrier, still needs a tiny bit done.

Also, to the above few messages, "Whats the difference?". Well, that isn't the Hao 1 carrier texture, its the H2 one. So, ask Bungie what the difference is.

The black spots are going to be fixed, so no worries.

I don't think it's actually Halo 2's textures. There is a difference. I would post pictures, but I don't want to turn into a "pic spammer", so I'll provide links instead.

Actually quite near. The pic what you just gave is probably not even an ingame pic, weird camera angle and stuff, looks like concept art.
It's ripped directly from halo 2, i dont know wtf you're talking about.
Ofourse it will look different, engine difference, duh.
Why do all the Mark VI armors look like crap? Because of that, you can't port the beautifull armor from halo 2 and keep it like that.



See this pic? It looks different from halo 1, and will always be.

You dont do shaders the same as Halo 2, end of story.

The Carrier Form is modeled differently than Halo1's. Either that or it has the ability to be bump mapped.

I would say bump mapped. As the models nearly look exactly the same, however, maybe a few minor details are present.

Update: I'm working on a few custom flood models, not bipeds, to maybe put in the mod. More on this to come soon.
