Alright, we'll work something out.
If I do say so myself, one thing I always see that makes me sad are bad attempts at H3 sniper kickback... it needs a mix between permanent and temporary camera impulse, not just permanent.
I also know how to give the illusion that a projectile has two contrails, but I haven't perfected that yet.

May be a while. From what I've seen so far the weapons need a lot of tagwork, which is what I'm going to work on. It may take a good while, 1-2 hours for each weapon at the very minimum. Plus I have a job, friends, etc, may have the weapon functions tagged within half a week to a week.
Also, you cannot rip H3 animations with the current available tools. I'm assuming the weapons and textures were ripped from the beta. Edited by Marka Haiyana on Mar 27, 2009 at 12:17 AM

Still, the textures. Also, fix the UV's on the back of the spiker. Banshee skin is meh. Don't love it, but I don't hate it either. Please fix the sand though :)

Delete that back door on the Albatross that has fallen on the ground, there isnt one in Halo 3. And fix the display on the AR, the numbers are also crooked, and have the wrong font.
Also for the Banshee, since you cant have a perfect boost in Halo, make it so that it goes faster than the standard banshee, but not to fast up to boosting speed. Edited by Advancebo on Mar 27, 2009 at 08:22 AM

Anyone with a brain could have seen that, and could have assumed that they are a placeholder. Also spiker isnt even in sandtrap, and I wont be using that model at the end, also also that's not the real banshee skin I put the old on ingame by accident. Whell the banshee looks beutifull the pistol is also awesome and the Spiker looks like some star wars weapon because of the rock/metal like textures (its too much shiny and has a lot more blue color then the one in Halo 3). In tottal everything looks awesome and since this is just a small part of it i cant wait to see it all in tottal.

Update.
Most of the current weapon functions are done. Sniper, Assault Rifle, Shotgun, SMG, and Magnum have kickback and weapon damage as similar to H3 as I can manage. Melees have also been tweaked to have more power. There's a few tweaks that will be made here and there but nothing game-breaking.
I'm not sure how many more weapons Grunt is planning on putting in, but I welcome the challenge. Rest assured the damage and functions of the weapons will be remarkably close to Halo 3.
