The dissortion has a bad side...

where the biped spawns in 3p wont be the same as fp, so you will see 2 bipeds, thus it will fail


maybe LODs could help...

Also you know seeing you can't dual wield online in CE, they probably would have tweaked the damage abit (probably not that much).

you're just not able to make dynamic trigger zones, on spawn points you can "dual wield"

OK hold on lemme make a list of weapons so far because I'm confused myself...

Battle Rifle- Currently using a horrible origin, my AR reload, and some make-shift animations by Grunt. I'm thinking of making it an origin for itself though...
Brute Shot- Get me a rigged model with 6 grenades and I'll do that
Rocket Launcher- Currently using my old, horrible animations. Maybe I'll attempt it again later
Laser- Currently using Muki's animations, but I'll compile mine later for use. (Youtube video maybe?)
Shotgun- Animated by Muki, though I might do it (if I get the shotgun and a working unwrap)
Assault Rifle- Animated by me, recently editted the animations and are in-game now
Magnum- Currently using Hayabusa's Zteam copy ones, I'll second attempt this later
Sniper- Animated by Hayabusa, I'm fine with the animations so I think we should keep them
Spiker- Have one, but isn't in Sandtrap. However, I want to animate it for fun anyway
SMG- Animated by Hayabusa. Give me the fp.model_animations for it though, because I want to fix some things


Oh, and right now I'm grounded until...Sunday or even late Saturday so don't expect me to be on xfire much.

Yeah, it's kind of quick and really off sync with the sounds presently on the sniper.

So the next step obviously is to find a brute shot.

You know, you see all these people modeling BRs and ARS and Magnums and SMGs, but never any covenant stuff... definitely not brute shots. p weird man

We dont have a chopper yet. Nor do we have a good enough/functional spartan laser, or brute shot, or gravity hammer.

The laser tags Muki made are great, I just need to compile my animations eventually and hand 'em over to be put into the map. Brute Shot, last I knew, Grunt was unwrapping it to the Halo 3 normal map. Gravity Hammer...uh, is that even in Sandtrap?

What part of the chopper wouldnt work. You could attach a small radius damage effect to a marker at the front of the chopper to kill anyone in front of it, to simulate the "crush" effect. And you dont need boost, just make it slightly faster, slower than its boost speed, faster than its normal speed.

I see no reason to unwrap it to the bitmap. When it would be easier to unwrap it to a custom unwrap so that it gets a custom texture.

because some people got a diffuse and are better at unwrapping than texturing, except if you can do a better job than bungie, like mister Disaster.

but i usually make custom ones even with a diffuse map from bungie, so i wouldn't care less how people do it.

aslong as you won't unwrap it as LOD models i'm fine with everything.
