Animated scenery doesn't sync, yet it has the appearance it does. It's weird, basically, technically, it's not SUPPOSED to sync, but it does anyway.

Animated scenery is... weird. It syncs because whenever the animation starts from the beginning again on the server side, it deletes the animation and remakes it in its new starting position. When it does this, the starting position is marked and sent to the server, telling it to delete the piece of scenery and remake it in that particular starting position, but the animation itself plays independently on each client. Since they're all using the same .map file, the animation should be the same length on all clients, meaning that the scenery will "remake" itself on the server at the same time as it does on the clients.
However, when a new client is added, the scenery starts its animation until the server tells it to remake itself in the new location, meaning that the scenery will disappear to the new client and restart its animation. Most of the time, this goes unnoticed, as the "Server Rules" screen is in the way. However, sometimes, that does happen, and it IS a little... Odd, to say the least.
However, aside from that one little bug, animated scenery has no syncing problems.

For the animated scenery problem, you could have the player spawn inside a building, so it isn't noticed.

I don't think here are any cliffs in a city-wide metropolis. The closest you could get is the pawn shop, on floor 3902...

yeah i do, i haven't beaten it, or found any star maps except for dantoines, but I'm at the part with the deal with sand people.
and so the maps will be realeased alltogether, whats the release date, or at least what year/month.

That part is very annoying. I just tried multiple times and luckily beat him. You could have your team do the fighting while you run.

uh yeah i play, but i don't play republic commando i play the RC2ANE TC game. which adds a new campaign in addition to the original, but you play a night ops, your demolitions is a recon named tucker-45, your ranger is now some guy called john-35 (i'd take the creator is a fan of halo) and your sniper is some guy called spark-05. i got past the part with calo nord, and it was off to maanan, i found the star map on maanan too, and now i'll do kashyyk.


but maybe we should stay on-topic.

The interior will be fully detailed, and you don't move from level to level within the buildings, you have to wind your way up or down to the other base on the outside paths. It's straightforward; it's impossible to get lost if you follow the main path. The branches all just lead to weapons, and the rocket and shotgun branches are the only ones that lie out in the open, to discourage any camping within the buildings.

Haha, it's OK, the buildings sucked anyway, so I started over. =P

Anyway, been working on a biped. More than just the head is done, I'm just too mean to show it to yas.
