No, not much. I've been working on the guns, but real life has been interfering with my work. I should be able to get some today, as soon as I sort out some trouble with my girlfriend.

Z_Sanctuary had a secret room?

At least that's what the stupid people who always make servers every day call it *eye roll.*
The only other time I've seen a girl interfere with video game related things was Masters, but that was more because of flooding fanboys. Don't bother replying to this, stay on the topic at hand.

No. No secrets, nothing. The only thing remotely close to being a secret would be the room in which everyone spawns for an instant before they have their permutations changed and are teleported to their respective sides of the map, and there's nothing fun in there.

Has it been said already that that looks exactly how it did in Battlefront 2?... Nice work, and sorry if it had been said already, couldn't find it. And I looked through the whole topic.

Pssst, Jay, would it be okay if I tried taking that nice AT-AT from you and putting it into the source engine? I know I asked already, its just so amazing. And its big enough that you wont look retarded driving it in Garry's Mod. (sorry off topic-ness)

Not canonical. I'm sticking to Star Wars canon here, if it isn't mentioned in the books, comics, or movies, it didn't happen.

Exactly. NOT Star Wars.

You didn't need to add all of them polys to the neck area, it could have just been a texture,

I was going for detail. If you never got close to the neck, I would have done that. However, the Snowspeeders CAN get close to the neck, and they would have noticed something wrong. Tool likes it, so there is no issues there.

Dotkito, learn to read. That ION CANNON IS NOT GOING TO BE IN THE MAP. It was not even posted by Jay, AND ALSO that Ion Cannon is from ANOTHER GAME, COMPLETELY INDEPENDENT OF THE STAR WARS UNIVERSE.

Possibly. it would be similar to the Plasma Pistol, if I did make it.

sry, not a starwars freak, but it looks kool

Wait, Its not in the starwars universe?

It is dude, Empire Strikes back

No, it isn't. The Empire Strikes Back DID have an Ion Cannon, but it wasn't portable. It was a dome-shaped structure that had been dug into the side of a cliff. It drew power from a very large power generator that also served to power the base's shields. As such, they could not be used simultaneously, and even if they were, the Ion Cannon would be useless anyway, as it would be inside of the shield.

Ion Cannons are popular in Science fiction, but that doesn't even look like a Star Wars weapon to Kiwi.

Perhaps make the Ion blaster worthless against health but insta knock out shields?

I would like to have it shut down all electronics, but that would be nearly impossible to accomplish, even with scripting.

An awsome game title could be:

Star Wars meets Halo
Just think: Vader vs Masterchief
Who would win?

EDIT: That texture near on his hip with the curved circle makes it look like a Toilet Seat

This isn't a "Who Would Win" thread, this is a thread for discussion of the SWMT project.

While a Halo vs Star Wars map is not entirely out of the question, as of right now I am not working on it.

Speaking of maps, I have decided on the 4 maps you will see in the first SWMT release.

One, as you all know, is Hoth.

I'm going to go all Bungie on you for the others.

Midnight Gridlock is a multi-layered map with many levels of close-quarters combat and a large, mid-range combat base on either end. While one of the bases is featured in a map in Star Wars: Battlefront II, the main walkways and other base are not.

Barren Oasis is built for city combat. There are many paths around the city for both teams, but they all lead to the same flat, open area, with few buildings you can run inside. A recommended strategy for this map is to set a trap for the other team by hiding in one of the buildings and ambushing them as they come through. This map is a slightly modified version of a map found in SW: BFII.

Shielding Cover, silly name as it is, would be an open level with hilly terrain, but the abundance of cover makes it hell for snipers, not heaven. While this map is also in SW: BFII, the design is completely different.

Also, please do not forget that I am low on members, and feel free to apply. Post pictures of your past work, please.
