A few things:

1) There's no plan for Thorn Beasts or other additional stuff. That's not because I'm a bad guy, but simply because, due to the limitations of non-OS mods, I can't add too many things, and I have already a lot of stuff to include. Actually I'm not even sure I'll be able to put all the things I did in my campaign mod.

As I've already said, I took inspiration from the Aardvark (a vehicle that was originally planned for the deleted Halo MMORPG). The LAAG turret has the Halo Reach shield, and I used two different shaders for the color permutations, so that I can easily change the green and black parts in case you want a different color scheme. Also, both the vehicles share the same model, just like the Wraith, so I saved some tagspace.

Gauss turret uses custom sounds and effects, made using CMT's and Ifafudafi's particles as always.

What do you think?

I'm not a fan of how the Aardvark looks (the concept in general). Seems very non-halo and cartoon-ish because of it's shape. I can imagine Buzz lightyear or ratchet and clank driving this thing. Blue = kinda ew. If more of the unsc tech was blue then I guess it would match. Try halo 3 hornet green or elephant green. Tan? Scorpion texture? Pelican texture?
Not a fan of this.

As a creation from the concept art, this is wonderfully executed.

Make it look more heavy I guess. Add some rails or large lights or something.



Gauss turret looks nice.

Doesn't look half bad, but the front end looks a little flat (a ramming bar might be something to look into), and the windshield doesn't seem to be doing much since it's a two-seater (i think the original Aardvark concept lacked a passenger seat, so the driver was centered behind the windshield).

Gauss cannon looks pretty good. The HMG/autocannon could do without the barrel bands (muzzle brake would be a nice addition though, methinks), and the shield could use a view slit so the gunner can see where he's aiming.

Overall, really neat spin on the Warthog that has a lot of potential for moar variants.

Edit: Spirals suggestion to make it look heavier seems like a good idea. Maybe it could be a bulked-up, more heavily armored alternative to the Warthog.

Update:



I have removed the barrel bands, added a view slit to the turret shield and a muzzle brake to the barrel. Moreover, I have enlarged the windshield and added a ramming bar to the back and the front parts.

Better. If you want to make the gun an autocannon, a big20mm box magazine sticking out of the left side could be something to look into to help distinguish it from the standard machine gun. If you're not aiming for something with a bit of AoE damage, though, belt would do fine.

It belongs to VKMT. They told me to create it so I did.

And the model has been release and I did ask S0I if he wants it just that he doesn't have the time.

Thanks, Sniper. Real life doesn't help, either...

Few updates:

1) Enabled destruction for the human vehicles too:





2) I have revised the actor variants of all the AIs that will feature in my mod. Now even the marines aren't useless

3) Finished the Scorpion:







I took inspiration from the Rhino, but I mixed the Halo Reach and 4 design for the textures. Firing sound is the H4 one.
Next thing is the Hornet, and then I'm done with the vehicles.

Tank seems neat.

the sense of direction is odd. I feel like it is facing backwards. It isn't only because of the extra leg, I feel like scorpion tanks always had a longer front end and here it looks shorter compared to its back end.

The back facing leg might be fine if the front is just longer:

Always good to see more UNSC tanks, but I think it could use a little refining, particularly in the proportions of the hull. The orange lights also seem kinda odd.
