I want the flood to stay in if it comes to the decision of keeping them or not. I don't think we have enough flood in firefights anymore. I like the gruesome fighting between 2 factions especially within this map.

 Glad to see the armory fully ready to go! Fun fact. Our initial draftings for what would become the Firefight Portent II armory actually started as part of a Firefight Descent modification back in the summer of '12.  And now, thanks to the hard work and dedication of HaloMaps community members, the concept has been made into an even better reality. Kudos!

Overall, well done. Firing positions could use a bit of tweaking since the AI never pursues you onto the bridge, and you should set game_speed to 0 while the player is in the armory.

H3 tagset sounds good, but i wouldn't use h2 bipeds, it doesn't match up well. Also, suicide grunts would make a good addition to it, i think. Lastly, have you considered a secret\hidden specialty weapon or armor abilities? Just my suggestions. Edited by grunt_eater on Jul 25, 2013 at 04:43 PM

It will be H3 weapons around H2 bipeds, it's too late in development to go around switching tagsets. Nobody complained about it in Firefight Descent, so we left it alone. There won't be space for suicide grunts in tagspace, there is a secret/hidden weapon already and we can't do armor abilities. As for everyone talking about the peon loadout; it exists for a reason, not to be a downgrade, but it is considered an upgrade. For 1 main reason, it comes with more ammo than the standard loadout. The guns may be less than satisfactory, however we think it better than the standard loadout because you spawn with 100% of battery life in both guns vs the standard loadout where you only start with a pistol at half ammo and an SMG with 1 clip.
