9 is not 2009. I've tested it in as early as Max 8 and it worked perfectly fine. In Max 2013 however, the rigging stops working properly and I believe in 2012 as well.

both 3ds max 8 and max 9 don't work with the mse scripts. i have no idea how they can be working for you gravemind, so i went ahead and tested the next version which was max 2010, the mse scripts work fine with that version. the max scripts from the adjutant 2 app http://filebeam.com/560c73720448fc03e189ab7233c23e3f

It works fine for me in Max 8 and works fine for clonetrooper in Max 9. 2009-2011 should all work fine, but 2012 and 2013 have issues. Also the scripts are built into the app so you shouldn't have to download them from anywhere. Edited by Gravemind on Nov 8, 2012 at 09:37 PM

Well if 9 and 2009 both work I assume 2008 would as well, but I haven't tried it and haven't heard of anyone else trying it.

My point was that nobody here seems to give it any recognition. They completely skip from 9 to 2009 without giving 2008 any thought. all jokes aside, you're my favorite poster.

Thanks to 314, i have just remembered to tell you guys that i got my hands on all the permutations for the reach elites beforehand, and i set all the materials up and whatnot (Diffuse, Normal, Specular, Opacity, Self Illum, Etc). It was a good 4 and a half hours of work with over 50 materials and 150+ maps. If you want it, PM me for it. It's in Max 2010 Format. Proof Of Purchase

just gonna say this; why bungie decided to change up the armor designs is beyond me, but the ranger and stealth armor are the only good things that came from that decision. Quote: --- Original message by: wafflesQuote: --- Original message by: master noob too bad adjutant requires .net v4.0+, which is a pain to install on windows 7 :C huh? took like 2 minutes to install 4.0 when it came out. keeps erroring; can't install any form of .net that my PC doesn't have. Maybe this is just me, but... It seems like there are certain armor pieces that don't extract with the spartan.
For example, the only shoulders that are extracted are the ODST.

Yes, the shoulder pieces, chest pieces, headgear, kneepads and utilites don't extract for the spartan. The same with the marines. I did make a fix for it but it didn't work as well as i wanted it to. There's a link to a spartans EMF with all permutations in the OP. Edited by Gravemind on Feb 13, 2013 at 07:52 AM

It'd be great if I could have a look at the raw of a halo 3 jmad tag, but that feature is unavailable on every map tool for both halo 3 and reach and I don't know how to find tag names manually. Edited by ptowery on Nov 12, 2012 at 02:43 AM
