Furthermore I have found a rather fool-proof tactic now. Just take an assault rifle and one scoped rifle, and camp at the turret. When a new wave starts just hide behind the cover and take out the drones. Then aim for the carbine infantry. After that most things can easily be taken out with the turret since enemies rarely ever charge you up there. If you ever get stuck on the map between fetching ammo, just camp in the green tunnels. Nothing can attack you in there which imo makes it too easy.
I also want to say that I don't find the spawn-point to be particularly well built or supplied. Most of my deaths were a result of being swarmed+spawn-killed in that low-cover structure after I had died a "legit" way. I think this could have been resolved by setting the spawn point further away from the action or enlarging the spawn structure, and providing at least one "safe" room where no enemies can enter or shoot you (however they could shoot you if you'd open its door for example).
The teammate is also a little underwhelming I find, he often gets stuck in the green tunnel and just isn't much more than a distraction. I personally prefer to have teammates that can do some real damage but spawn less often, as opposed to a frequently spawning teammate that just sprays his gun a bit.
Just some things to think about for future work. I still like the map of course, oh and nice credits billboard :-) Thanks for the honest review. A few design decisions to highlight here. There were many decisions that had to be made, many of them unknown to the player as to why. The health pack can be hard to find for some people, I admit. The reason you have to jump to get it is so that the player doesn't inadvertently heal himself before he wants to, just by standing near the panels in there. The map is designed to be tactically exploited. You will not live past Round 3 if you do not develop a strategy. This is actually intended. The green tunnels were blocked off from AI for two reasons. The first one is that AI would go up in there and get stuck near the top, and the second is that it is another good tactical location for the player on more difficult rounds. This map is built on being exploitive. The player spawn point is where it is because it is near the ammo and health, as well as the main panels. The player is actually invincible for about 5 seconds after spawning, and the AI ignore the player for the first few seconds as well. If AI are camping the base, you can hide behind the wall where the 2 panels are and draw them in one at a time. And lastly, the teammate used to be a machine, but we found that it interfered with the gameplay because rounds that were meant to be harder became too easy. Therefore he serves as a way to distract usually the lower half of enemies while you work on taking out the upper guys. Hopefully, this sheds some light on why things are the way they are. We know some things could have been done better, but that's what learning is all about.  If you are still reading this, thanks for reading, lol.

He's pretty trigger happy alright.  The reason he doesn't have an awesome weapon is because his purpose is to distract the lower guys while you fight off the upper guys. In earlier iterations, he did a good deal of killing. This made the rounds too easy as you would kill the upper guys and then all that was left on the bottom were the elites and maybe a jackal.

Finally beat it on normal. It is a truly excellent map and I am having a lot of fun playing it over again with different weapons and strategies. I agree with TM_updates on the spawn point and the teammate's weakness, but I also thought that the weapons disappeared too quickly. More times that I could count I would kill an Elite, watch him drop three plasma grenades, turn away for one second to punch a Grunt, and then look back to find that my loot had vanished before I could grab it. Yes, but generally trying to hide behind a wall at the main base still got me shot to death by some of the higher ranking Elites once they stopped ignoring me, and the five seconds aren't enough to get to any other defensible location in time. I would prefer a more secluded spawn point.

It's possible its due to the drones they are using. We recently just found out that a sound tag that is used with it can cause exceptions for people.

Make sure you don't have any non-original audio-related dll's installed. We had issues with custom audio dlls regarding the music files during production of the level. A lot of the issues were fixed, but you could have something it still doesn't like.

This might seem like a weird question, but what are your PC specifications?
The reason I ask this is because right as the camera is coming down off the gravlift all of the scenery is created at once and for lower end systems halo could choke and crash.
That is my absolute best guess at this point, as I've checked all of the scenery files individually and they all are fine.
