I'm working on a tutorial for implementing loadouts into a map, which should be coming out pretty soon. It will include the files that you will need, and hopefully I'll be able to record it in video format.

played the map, it was great
the only thing that really was annoying was how OP the jackal snipers were
that and the fun waves weren't really fun so much as an annoyance that I wanted to get through as quickly as possible to get back to the actually fight

Normally I would get about 20 fps with textures, particles at max, and resolution at 800 x 600.
Now I get 60 fps at 1280 x 1024 at max settings since I got my new graphics card. (I used to use an integrated Intel chipset before.)

This is what Halo CE is all about.These features are why this map should be played by everyone who has CE installed: - Great custom BSP, not only visually, but well designed too, plenty of useful passageways to take to flank your enemy. I love the "controversial" color scheme, and this BSP shows once again that Halo CE does not need OS to look great and modern. - Plenty of creative options to take down your enemies in the form of "support panels", love it, even though some of them borrow from my own firefight map, but I see that as an honorable nudge :-) - Great music selection! - Good difficulty curve, starts out gentle, then gradually pushes up the difficulty. - Fantastic weapon choice along with powerups like the bubbleshield.
I do have some very minor issues I am just going to adress to be complete: - There was a bit of lag on the difficulty selection, I pressed E when it was over normal but it "lagged" over to heroic D: - The sentinel tags seem slightly corrupted, they constantly show their shield. It's an easy tag fix should you ever want to do another map with sentinels, or feel like updating this map (not needed imo, its just a petty remark) - While I love the "fun round" concept, I felt the power weapon should spawn just after having completed the fun round. The problem I was having was that I would take say the rocket launcher, and then immediately get destroyed by the "fun enemies". That way I lost my rocket launcher in a rather "dumb" way. I also feel the player should have his health restored after the fun round, since health packs are in very rare supply (in fact I only found one, at the very start of the game). - The drones were well annoying, but I think it's due to the tag. The collision doesn't appear to be spot-on on the tag, so sometimes shots that you put into it seem to just go through it. We suffer from the same problem in Lumoria though. It's an imperfection I can live with, but worth listing for completion. - I also think there should be a message text at the start that tells you how to use the bubble shield, I had to mash some keys before I found it after a few waves. If there's a text in there already that explains it then my bad, but it could be more clear D: (everything else such as unlocks and powerups is explained perfectly). - I feel the hunters aren't much of a threat with their beam weapons, the fuel rod cannons are imo alot more fearsome. - AI do not seem to use those green side hallways, so I found myself camping in there fairly often.
But yeah to conclude, its a fantastic map and I just love it. I'm currently at round 3 with still 2 lives left, just unlocked a teammate :P Will continue playing this evening!

Just finished playing some of it earlier. I don't normally download other SP/MP maps, but since this was firefight, and it got a good review from a friend of mine, I decided to give it a go.
And damn, am I impressed.
It is an extremely well put together map, that is most importantly, extremely fun to play. I loved the idea of the random weapon orb and the sentinels you can call in that are hostile to every faction. Although I stopped around Round 2 Wave 2, I have to say from what I played it was pretty damn awesome. I really enjoyed just playing it.
Regardless of what others may have said, I thought all of it fit really well together, it was nice to look at, and in terms of aesthetics that's what's important.
Gameplay-wise it was solid. Lots of fun, and well balanced, so it was damn good. Only complaint was perhaps that round 1 was a cakewalk, but I made the mistake of activating Sentinels first round only to see them almost murder me.
Features-wise. It was really nice. Gave you a sense of progression, and the sort of SP element helped with that. So that's an A+ for me.
SPOLIER-ISH My only issue was perhaps my own mistake, but regardless it was an issue. I found the first hidden panel, and wondering what it did, I hit it before I even started round 1. I only found 2 of them, but when I wanted to continue with the map, I found that the control panel for starting had disappeared. So I had to restart the entire level. If you could leave the ability to start the round even after you found the panel that would be nice, but I have a feeling there's an underlying reason for it.
Furthermore, if there was a 2 control panels after you take a look around. One for the overview and starting, and the other for just skipping the overview, that would be a nice addition.
Anyway, it's a fantastic map, and great fun to play. 9/10.

Thanks for the review. The hidden panel array disables starting the game because they do something that totally disrupts the map. I won't say what, but one guy has already discovered it. that's a pretty cool map you guys got done, the music, cinematics and loadouts etc all made it interesting.
i did how ever find a lot of them (can't remember the proper term)
this was along the edges of a few of the parts of the structures where i was using them as cover to pop out and shoot, and in return i was hitting an invisible surface.
still pretty cool work though.

Ghost bsps have been majorly fixed since older builds in the development of the map. It used to be that you couldn't even shoot from the top area at anything at all. I feel I did the best I possibly could at eliminating them.
The third person animations are due to how it was rigged. Honestly I don't find it noticeable, and only if you get real close and look for the issues, you won't notice them.
