An OS version seems pretty pointless to me, unless the map that is delivered needs improvement where the original CE cannot deliver gameplay wise. Visually, the map looks great.

Hey guys, just a bit of a disclaimer for y'all.
It's recommended that you play the level with OS deactivated/off, because in the super-wide Open Sauce FOV, you can see part of the BSP occluded by a portal in the loadout menu screen. It also just causes FOV issues in general.

probably too late, but could you reduce the kick with the sniper rifle, seems a little exaggerated (and personally, the amount you set is mildly annoying)

I had to balance the weapon set out. If the sniper stayed more aligned all the time, it would be much easier to just run in with it and mow everything down. There's plenty of ammo so no worries. The video touches the very basics. Prepare to see some other cool stuff when you play in the next few days. Also, the video was recorded with Open Sauce running. Looks fun!The lighting looks funny to me(the mixture is kind of odd).The turret is apparently incomplete.The only thing that moves along with the turret are the hands.

One ally, yes. Turret is courtesy of Valhalla. I'm not really a vehicle guy. Hey guys, I'm putting together a tutorial for doing loadouts in Halo CE, which I'll post soon to HaloMaps as well. It will include the files you need and instructions on how to get your own loadouts working in a SP map.

Dennis is obviously holding the pre-release party before hosting the map. Shame I didn't get an invitation. Maybe next time?
Unfortunately he'll likely be far too drunk to approve this map for at least a week after he gets back, due to the amount of alcohol consumed resulting from celebration of Firefight Descent's upload.
