Hello halo boys!

I have started a project a long time ago. It's the remake of the floods maps created by DHG vista.
I pretty love these maps, and now i want to remake them, with new bsp and maybe new tags, idk right now. I work with spartans22500 (DALEK) and sometimes with Benji mod.

I started a bsp one week ago. Here's some screens:

Spawn room (just the bsp no scenery) :

A cave :





Maybe will be a single player level, but i'am not sure now. The team is Darksoldier (modeler, animator, rig, shadering) Spartans (modeling, texturing, tag fixing) Benji Mod ( all things, he helps me sometimes ^^) I will post new screens and udaptes every weeks !

you should make a ground using detail map for the cave.
Looking good so far, mb needs spotlights in the cave

Yeah it's my favourite ai map too xd ;) And yeah i will remake all parts ( the floods, the floods part 2 and the floods part 3) ^^

Here's some udaptes :

I have redid the interior ( spawn room and the ways ):









And i redid the cave ( add many details, new structures, and new udaptes too, waterfalls, lights etc..., but i have a problem with structure lol )





And its a structure who have a problem for me because i don't like, it dosn't look covenant or foreunneur ! :





Sorry the udaptes spend long time to comming , but now here it is ! ^^

There's not much point in making it mp apart from not having to script which is just lazy. And some of the encounters were a bit annoying at the start of the 1st map, millions of flood spawning in your face.

Bsp's looking really cool. Plz include some epic hog runs like th original.

Hello everyone :D

Thank you guys !!!

Sorry i don't have any screens and update right now :(. I work on an generator room. I will use gaigher's and maniac's texture tag pack. Yeah Muscl3r, i will do many hog runs like the original map ;). ssher will improve some halo 1 texture for me. DALEK (spartans22500) helps on some stuff. Mathew dratt, i will do 2 differents version. The first, multiplayer like the orginal map and the second for an single player level.

Some updates incoming after. I need to take some screens in game or 3ds max idk right now :D

Hello guys. I have a little update. I show you my new lighting and a part of the new bsp i will use in the floods.




I will change the teleporter color. But i don't know what color is the best for that. What do you think guys ? (blue, cyan, red, purple, yellow, orange, pink )

I suggest that you ditch those terrible ceilling lights and just use the teleporter as the only light source.

Very nice idea Svanke Svans. In the first time i want to change de teleporter bitmaps and the effect. After i will add light on the teleporter like your screen.

I think you can do much more with this room than just making a basic two way room.
Also the pillars texture doesn't look right. Kinda disconnects with the rest of the room and the middle doorway should have its own texture otherwise it looks bad.

Many updates guys.

Specials thanks to DALEK (for the teleporter's bitmaps and screens) Benji Mod (screens). Those guys are realy awesome ! A BIG THANKS to them ! :D

I have edited the teleporter for you guys. Need little improvement but it's good now.









Need to fix the fog. There are no scenery cause it's a WIP. The brigde room need a lot of work.

i have a suggestion, why don't use aether for the final lighting? it'd be better that way, don't you think? :D

Thank you :D Oh yeah that app is very interesting, it's a very good idea ! :). I never used that before. I found a tutorial who explain how do use aether :D

Hello everyone. I have good updates today. Slowbullet ask me if i want to show the floods remake project in the CE3. It's a big honor for me to present my project in the CE3 2012. A big thanks to Slowbullet ! :D

I worked on the bsp. I add some parts and fixed some things. (Again sorry, there are no scenery, fog etc...) Look :

And a fun part, a big cave :






Need to fix little bug. But i think it's good now :)
