Also,

I PM'd Dennis asking if he would start hosting ".yelo" maps, and he said yes.

Just putting that out there in case any of you are shy about uploading a .yelo

Well he uploaded OS itself so I thought that was kinda obvious...

You never know, which is why I asked him to confirm it.

CMT didn't make OpenSauce. Kornman and his very small team developed OpenSauce.

CMT just tested it.

You can either go pp_motionblur etc etc

OR

go to the .xml settings.

Well, OS is incompatible with like the only 1.09 compatible Third person program, Skys the Limit. C:

Use Version Changer. Stop relying on things from 1.09, all the good stuff is in 1.08 and 1.07.

OSv3 is only compatible with 1.09. You see my dilemma yet?

Don't expect anything to change when it comes to compabitibility. Kornman seems to have a *disability* when it comes to speaking to other developers about dealing with compatabilities.

Nope, hence why I added support for d3d9_proxy.dll way, way back to allow other d3d9 hooks to co-exist with OS. Not my fault Xfire can't validate what it's hooking. And as far as STL is concerned, it's an external application that probably overwrites code that OS writes to. It's just inherently incompatible. Last I checked, both Skyline and Limited moved on with school and work.

With OS enabled, would you still be able to use the features that Yelo use to do, such as changing weapon position on the screen and FOV, but in every server? Not just your map? (Sorry, I haven't read everything and im not terribly up to date).

Same thing happens to me, the game opened for like 2 seconds and exceptioned. I saw many UI textures looked corrupt as well.

There are different kinds of settings in OS. The kind you're referring to (weapon views, FOV, etc) are user settings, which are global.

So, After installing the OS update. Anything I compile with tags created with the last install causes my Halo window to Minimize, and a Yelo Script Definition window comes pops up.

Am I missing something, or do I have to recreate my tags in order to prevent the message, and possible crash?

So, I have tried everything I can think of to resolve the Yelo Script Definitions Mismatch error.

Quote: this map's yelo script definitions appear to differ from this build of os. were probably about to crash...

I have tried fresh installs of 3.01... Installing over 3.0.. Manual Installations

The only thing that seems to fix it is using a fresh set of tags and starting brand new.

No luck, and the project wiki doesn't seem to have any troubleshooting related to my issue

Please tell me I am doing something wrong. I was under the impression that this recent update wouldn't break compatibility :(

Something's up with OS sapien, if I try to open a scenario in it crashes. I adjusted it to my default sapien's compatibility settings but it still didn't work. I tried running it in every compatibility mode but to no avail. Any reason as to why this is happening?

note that the scenario DOES open in the original hek's sapien

In the next update would it be possible to move the folders into the HCE directory? It's always a bit annoying for me to forget where the opensauce settings are to realize I've gotta click through all them and them to go back to CE.

Nothings wrong it's just that this was programmed by abunch of wanna be like as good as bungie programmers.

The above happens to me also^^

No fix.

Suggests to me that the application to remove and replace update OS is crap, like it's developers...

FIX

If your having the above issue,it shouldn't crash your game it will just annoy you when a map starts,or restarts.

1).To fix go in OS_Guerilla click file new,project_yellow_globals,put your mod's name in mod name.Save where you want.

2.)Click file new project_yellow,under Misc<<<

{Slot}
Yelo Globals link it to your new globals you created in step 1 ^^.

3).Then under your maps scenario tag.
At the very top you see "project yellow defintions" link that to what you created in step 2^.

Compile new map,no more message box.

Your Welcome!
