Is this some sort of Labour Union? You don't HAVE to use OpenSauce to make your maps. It's an option like everything else. Besides, they put effort into OSv3 and the things they've done with it are pretty amazing to say the least (Truth and Reconciliation is on par with modern consoles, nearly.) Besides, it's these kinds of advances that are for the better. With enhanced editing software, you can make better looking maps, manipulate the lighting much better in the maps and even make the physics of a map run smoother. If you're bagging on it simply because you don't know how to use it and/or your computer isn't optimized to run it, then I implore you to address those issues before criticizing people's hard work. Besides, after some 7 years in the game of creating maps for Halo/Halo CE, I'm pretty sure we've all had it up to here with low-res/smeared textures. Honestly, the only gripe I have with OpenSauce is the bloom. If we could somehow make it resemble that of Icenhancer a bit more, we'd be much better off. That, or just take away a bit of the "fogging" that occurs when it comes to bloom/ambient-occulsion. I actually had an unreleased bloom config for the vanilla Halo CE from like some three years ago. I might go about finishing it off and uploading it soon.

FXAA looks good for me. It's the only OS feature I use at all.

What IS FXAA?
Anti aliasing? I use my ATI/AMD drivers to enable AA for CE.

"Let's see what our customers have to say about FXAA!" "You barely see the hard edges!!" "I've disabled it and put FXAA on 1080p and i'm not going back!" "Call 1-800.."

Well, at low resolutions, on some games, FXAA can be a bit lacking as it is a performance-friendly alternative to MSAA and other traditional forms of antialiasing.
However, as long as you have a modern monitor with a resolution of at least 1360x768(FXAA seems fine for me anyway), FXAA should be enough for most games. It's also very performance-friendly.
Yes, it has a blur effect. However, unless you stand still and stare for a few minutes(bit strange...), it's not noticeable in any way.

If I set it higher than 2x AA, the whole game goes brown (cause I usually test in foundry.) It may go black or white on other maps, idk.
