He is right, but just use caution when doing these things. About a year ago, i did this to OpsY's maps, and HE GOT PISSED. He posted a newspost on his xfire page, "RPG_Beta" that he would quit mapping because of me. There was 4+ pages of hate, and some people started a HATE clan aganst me for him quitting. They stalked my sister's facebook, they threatned hacks aganst me, and they all stopped after i apologized to OpsY publically. I recommend you watch your actions, and do not go down the path i did. |

Plus the fact that, when they've made the effort to make something nice barely anyone in the CE community has even reached half way in their puberty left alone grown a hairy pair and learned how to respect others works. The person who stole the tags is probably the one you're referring to in terms of E-fame, the only reason anyone would be developing for this game now is either for nostalgic reasons, haven't bothered learning newer engines or enjoys making things for this game and when someone outright steals their work they feel let down. Considering how challenged the majority the CE community is I'm astounded that it has managed to persevere this long. I would have thought it would have self destructed by now. I myself am starting to wonder whether there is any point in my self contributing anything to the community after reading the comments in this thread and others and seeing the blatant disregard for anyone else's work. One last thing, I'm fully expecting Dennis to drop by mentioning how "anything" compiled through the editing kit or themed with this game is IP of it's creators, the IP is how ever the physical data and effort used in creating the data is not and never will be.
