Lol. It's cobalt it's supposed to be light. Look at it on a bungie made map. It's roughly the same color

Also. Since you made the secondary colors i would make sure they don't show up as crappy colors. Such as. Hot pink\Lime green\Violet or any other ugly bright colors. At least in my opinion :|

i think the cliffs look awesome man,it does look realistic and seems to look well against the dark green of the grass.
the spartans: they all look good but i think the top 1 looks the best out of them all.

This was an early rip I made, I made a few changes, but since I will be removing the rubber, I will plan on keeping the secondaries, unless slappy really does not want it, I can remove it. The secondary colors are from bungie. I took their values and used them, so there wont be any crap bright colors.

Higuy said he could get Rooster's wall, but that hasn't happened. Other than that, we've basically got all the models. Just need to work on getting the ones we need ingame.

I'm starting work on the spartans again, Slappy Can you send me the collision model so I can test ingame with all regions?

EDIT: It compiled fine without any "unnamed" regions, all six regions, body, chest, helmet, leftshoulder, rightshoulder

BUT NOOO, I forgot to make a triangle for realtime's chest, now I have to recompile T_T

Oh yeah, I do... sorry, it's just that I've been looking over the thread again and I keep remembering that picture.
Still, the we should be ok on models...

And I don't even have collision. Just been working without it. If I die, I exception.

Wtf. Then, how are we supposed to use the regions? I compiled the model already with the realtime chest as an invisible transparent triangle.

Yeah, that's what you're supposed to do.
Collision is different. It has collision regions, which are head, body, and legs. Or head, torse, and legs... I forget.
EDIT: Basically, we just need to get some spartan collision on our model. Anyone have collision sauce?

Well, Slappy is doing this "script thing" where it would chose your regions, so he told me to set up regions on export, which I did, but now I can't test ingame because I haz no collision sauce.

I know, right? Halo says that they don't match. I could fix it with the gbxmodel/max file of the new spartan and the collision source stuff. Or making our wok collision, which suxorz, because biped collision is annoying.

So. The Spartans didn't have collisions and thats getting fixed. Your still making the shaders better every time i see them. And XlzQwerty1 just said sned, anything i'm missing?

Slappy, i know you've worked on the grass since this pic but i just wanted to use it to try to explain my idea. i read in some thread (may have been this one) about '3D' or 'stand up' grass. when i saw this pic for the first time i thought the edges, where the base meets the grass, looked too clean. i was wondering if some '3D' grass might look nice around the base, especially where the base meets the grass. or maybe dirt or dark shading? just some ideas

There is already "3d" grass, just not by the sides of the bases. And in my opinion, I don't think there needs to be any, since Halo 3 didn't have any grass at the sides of the metal.

Yes. It was in this thread. And i was the one to suggest it. heres the original video showing it off,

I have since made it more 3D. unlike in that video were you can see that from the side it still looks flat. The new one looks paper thin yet it bends around and will soon be animated. I'll post an update soon

Oh, and slappy. Have you thought about footprints?

You do not make 3d grass that way, you use detailed object collections, there is a tut on it.
