EDIT: I also need to know which of those shoulders had lights. Your materials were all set to arch+design and causeing exporting problems, so I had to remake the multi material from scratch (all 27 sub-materials).

uhm ok, just do it with the lights, put the material of the shoulders, and u will see a rectangle on the chest and on the shoulders what doesn't work with the armar bitmap, just put the master chief bitmap, and it works

I am currently starting the region separation for the spartan models+ shaders. Do you want these spartans to be available for beta or the final version?

Guys, Can someone help me, when I try to export with 3ds max 2010 using bluestreak v1.02 (CAD) for the H3 Spartans, there would always be an error saying warning bone "Bip01 _______ " in skin modifier is not a node, so I am unable to export any bipeds for now. :(

The screenshots themselves are low-res and I explained that the white was because of a texture WIP... to answer your two questions.
I would like you guys to notice a trend here, if you don't mind. Whenever someone puts the map updates side-to-side with an actual halo 3 screenshot, I've been getting more pressuring comments.
What I'm getting at is that these looks will never be perfect.

The bsp busy work and minor improvements are getting done bit by bit, and in the meantime we've had some confusion with the player biped situation. Let's get some things cleared up, just to be safe.

Didn't read previous comments, just gave crit. So if you have explained why then ignore that crit :)

And the crit about using normal maps is nothing to do with the Halo 3 image, it's just general crit on giving the metal panels more depth.

Actually, giving him the thingy isn't a problem for me. I'll just post the tag here or something. No biggie.
I think "players might not like" means that a player could be stuck with an undesirable secondary color.

Slappy's secondary color pros/cons
Pros: Looks interesting
More replicant of halo 3
Cons: Color cannot be scripted to sync
Random choice
I think it's up to you, xlzqwerty. Whatever compiles or whatever you want to put the time into.
In the meantime, I'm off to 3dsmax land. I'ts about time to work on the sky, sun, and mountains so that we're ready for final shadows and general betaness.

i'm still working on getting you the halo 3 phantom. but if worse comes to worst i'll just unwrap one of the custom models floating around.

It was obviously intentional... I mean, I'm trying to be unproductive on purpose. Definitely something I should leave alone and publish because it's supposed to be like that. i knew it was intentional. but why take the time to make a new shader. apply it. rebuild the map. and take/upload screen shots just to prove you don't need help?, i mean you could have much more easily said you didn't need help. :P whatev though. still looks cool :D. anyway so i never heard. whether or not you would be making secondary colors on the armor?. or is it still undecided?

I was being extremely sarcastic. The trees are not supposed to be like that. Just thought it looked cool. Seriously, grunt eater?
We have decided on the secondary situation already. Asking on the forum was just a feedback/preference thing.

Well, since the rubber isn't really necessary, but people don't want the secondary colors, I will remove the secondary colors and hopefully the models will compile.
