Anyone who can sound mature. I need voices for various SPARTAN - IIs (including John-117), Dr Halsey and Cortana. I'm not sure about including SPARTAN - IIIs. Oh, and anyone wanting to have a go at voicing a Forerunner/Monitor is welcome too.

im 13. if you go into audacity, you can make any voice sound better with basic editing. use chiefs dialog for his voice. For femals; either edit a dudes voice to soundf female or find a female. (start a threadf)
if you want me to voice act, hmu on xfire or shoot me a pm.
edit: new page biaotchess

Yeah, I was thinking about using Audacity. I want to have original dialogue, hence I will not use any stuff already in game. Come to think of it, if you edit the pitch, you can create a pretty sweet 'Chief voice. I'm going to try that. Yeah, I'll try and do voice acting (I think I'm okay at it) and edit it. I don't want to have Lumoria-standard dialogue, that would be...
kinda bad. But yeah. I will post the script soon.

So, my ten-year-old little sister won't be sufficient I would assume? Just figured I'd offer, I'd love to help, but i'm a miserable actor (yes, even voice acting.). PM me anything you wish to know (I can, and would/will/whatever help with modeling if needed, just lemme know.). :P.

By the way, by AI, I meant encounters.

R4FL Presents:

Halo: Return of the Fallen
A sequel to the events of Halo 3

Chapter 1: Awakening

November 7th 2553
Onyx Micro Dyson Sphere

A bright, blurry area surrounds you, with no discernable features. Kelly stands over you, speaking urgently.

Kelly: Fred! Fred, get up, there’s not much time! Some kind of portal’s appeared, and Dr Halsey can’t tell how long it’ll stay open now that she says the main power supply’s gone. Can’t tell for sure now Jerrod’s not responding, but her word is good enough.

I’ll take my chances, it might be the only way out of here. Unless you want to end up like Team Katana, you’d better follow.

Fred: Roger that. Where are the others?

Kelly: They’ve already gone through.

Fred: Let’s make this quick, then.

Kelly and Fred enter the portal, emerging on a grassy hill where Dr Halsey, Tom-B292, Lucy-B091, Linda-058, Ash-G099, Mark, Olivia and Franklin Mendez await them.

Linda: (To Dr Halsey) I’ve identified a cluster of structures ahead, they look like they’re inhabited. Should we have a look?

Dr Halsey: Nothing ventured, nothing gained…

Linda: (To Kelly and Fred) Oh, hi. I see you’re a little late to the party.

Kelly: Well, I had to wake him up first…

Mendez: Come on, double time! Stay alert!

All SPARTANs: Yes sir!

The team advances towards the target area, until they reach some defensive outposts, from which a red – armoured Forerunner appears, a surprised low-ranking warrior. You play as Fred.

Forerunner Warrior: (To Rogue Forerunner Leader, out of view) Humans? Filal, some so – called ‘Reclaimers’ have arrived! What should we do?

Filal Devotion (Rogue Forerunner Leader): (To Forerunner Warrior) Let me deal with them.

Filal comes into view, a heavily armoured self – important being.

Humans! My peers entrusted you with the legacy of their entire species, yet even a false covenant beat you to the race. They were foolish, and did not survive. Not anticipating that some would see through the guise of success the Didact shrouded over death. Your species was to be our successors, but have already failed. Now, the true Forerunners will take their rightful place and rebuild the glorious Empire! Come, and I shall not harm you. Refuse, and you will be punished. After all, there is a large selection of you, and I am sure that one of you will break. I require your help to activate the portal, for it appears only the selected few were granted authorisation, save you ‘Reclaimers’. Without your help, we are all stranded, and power will run out now that some buffoon has destroyed The Ark. You will die if you do not cooperate, if not by our hand, by your own.

Fred: Go to hell!

Filal Devotion (Rogue Forerunner Leader): As you wish.
(To Rogue Forerunner Warriors) Crush their resistance by any means necessary! We only require one alive.

Multiple sentinels of various classes appear, followed by 4 rogues. They begin to attack, showing intent to kill all of the Onyx survivors. Once the area is safe, the company continues.

Dr Halsey: I see negotiations went well. I could really use Cortana right now.

Mendez: Ma’am, this is no time to get sentimental. Company, let’s get to the portal controls, maybe we can get out of here.

The group fights through the city to a large building with controls to open the portal.
It is activated. Cue cutscene showing the portal open.

Ash: Was that really a good idea?

Fred: Hell if I know, but we’re going to go have to through it soon.

The group fights to the dreadnought, enter a teleporter to the bridge then take off. Level ends.

Chapter 2: Salvation

November 7th 2553
UNSC Heart of Courage, Marathon-class Cruiser

UNSC forces have received John-117's distress call. After being nursed back to health, he is sent to investigate another beacon coming from the Forerunner dreadnought, along with a small squad of marines/ODSTs. The level begins with the cruiser approaching space outside where the Forerunner Dreadnought has appeared desperately fighting off waves of sentinels – enforcers, sentinel majors and standard sentinels.

Crewman: Master Chief, we have arrived at the destination. We have detected multiple hostile contacts but are unsure where the distress signal came from. Should we engage?

John: Affirmative. Engage all robotic automatons, but do not engage the Dreadnought unless it engages first. Am I understood?

Crewman: Yes sir (salute).

John: Good job, Lieutenant.

John -117 moves to the control system, activating communications systems.

This is SPARTAN – 117, at the location of a recently transmitter high – priority UNSC distress beacon. Any receiving UNSC forces, please acknowledge immediately.

Dr Halsey (on communications system): John? Is that you?

John: Yes, ma’am.

Dr Halsey: I realise this may be inappropriate to the topic at hand, but what news do you have on Jacob and Miranda?

John: They both gave their lives to the cause. They’re named on a war memorial back on Earth.

Dr Halsey: Understood. (Short pause) We are currently on a captured Forerunner Dreadnought, but only have control from the bridge. We have multiple hostiles inside the ship.

John: Hostiles?

Dr Halsey: They identified themselves as Forerunner.

Cortana: Forerunners! Some did survive! How fascinating! This could be an excellent opportunity to fill the gaps on the events of the Flood war!

John: Now isn’t the time. I don’t think they’ll be willing to talk. Dr Halsey, what are your requests?

Dr Halsey: We require either evacuation or assistance in neutralising forces on the vessel.

John: Roger, SPARTAN – 117 out. (To crewman) Scramble the fighters! We’ve got company!

Cortana: You do realise that current figures show we’re heavily outnumbered already?

John: Yes, but what use does a SPARTAN have for odds?

Cortana: Sometimes you never change. –Wait! Slipspace rupture detected!

John: WHAT?

Cortana: It’s the ‘Shadow Of Intent’!

Thel 'Vadam (Arbiter) over communications systems: Apologies for the unexpected arrival, friend. Word spreads quickly. I heard of your mission, and I admit I could not resist curiosity. Would you mind if my Phantom came aboard? I’ll be happy to assist the boarding party.
John: My pleasure, Arbiter.
Thel 'Vadam’s phantom arrives on board the UNSC Heart of Courage, the cut scene ends. You play as the Master Chief, starting in a hangar (Hugeass) with a variety of vehicles (hopefully including my, Petera275’s concepts in action). Once a vehicle is taken, the player battles various Sentinels, then boards the Dreadnought, after which a cutscene will show the Arbiter’s phantom following, with the Arbiter joining the ‘Chief.
John: Welcome aboard.
Thel 'Vadam: Enough with the niceties. We must free your brothers.
John: Agreed. By the way, thanks for coming.
Thel 'Vadam: (Short pause) …my pleasure.
The ‘Chief, Arbiter and, if the player decides to take a dropship with other men, some ODSTs, have a short battle to the control room, where everyone awaits them.
Kelly: Chief? It’s you?
John: We’ll have time to talk later. Good to see you’re all in one piece, though. Now, let’s move!
The SPARTANs escape the Dreadnought in the Arbiter’s Phantom, the Dreadnought is destroyed.

Chapter 3 (Use of scenario TBC): A Helping Hand

November 20th 2553
UNSC Briefing Room, Earth
Lord Hood: Congratulations, SPARTANs. You did the UNSC proud. (To John) It’s a shame the Arbiter couldn’t join us.
John: He needed to be elsewhere.
Lord Hood: So I gathered. Now, I’m afraid I need you all for one last mission, after which I have been given permission to, despite previous policies, grant you all unconditional retirement. That goes for Dr Halsey too. I’m sure she feels the SPARTAN – II project was enough, though she will be allowed to continue her research. I must say, the information from Cortana has been somewhat revolutionary.
Dr Halsey: According to my research, we could use the Forerunner knowledge to rebuild entire planets. Reach…
Lord Hood: I’ll leave that to you, Professor.
Dr Halsey: Yes, sir.
My Beam-hog concept is put into production, which is lucky because of the small insurgence, which seem to be immune to projectile weaponry. UNSC win, as always, and everyone lives happily ever after. After this, Forerunner knowledge is used to rebuild Reach better than with human terraforming knowledge. The process is complete, with Reach renewed better than before, on July 7th 2589 (See the Halo: Reach Epilogue), thanks to Dr Halsey’s research. Amazingly, the Forerunner relic at CASTLE base remained intact after glassing of the planet.

doesnt really sound like Master Chief and Arbiter. Also i believe i read somewhere it was 12 years before they found him.
ALSO i dont think it would take 25 years before they started to recolonize.

I know it doesn't really sound like 'Chief and Arbiter, I didn't take much time to study their speech, more on the background of the shield installation and the Forerunners.

I dunno about the 12 years before found thing, but it's probably fan fiction too, I doubt official sources divulged information to spoil the cliff hanger. Also, the 25 years to recolonize, yeah maybe not. It's the date from the Halo: Reach Epilogue when Reach is rebuilt. But Reach was glassed. It's not just colonization, it's restoring an entire planet to be inhabitable, then rebuilding cities, then colonizing.

We've decided to do about 5 Reach maps, and a little side project of custom content based after the events of Halo 3, inspired by Hiralis.

Here is what HRCEMT is working on:

Reach SP:

Noble Actual
ONI Sword Base
Nightfall
Long Night of Solace
New Alexandria
The Pillar of Autumn

Reach MP:
Boneyard
Powerhouse
Sword Base
Zealot
Reflection
Hemorrhage
Pinnacle

Halo: Return of the Fallen

SP:

Awakening (Forerunner City)
Salvation (Space Battle)
A Helping Hand (Boarding, Return)

Well I think that in terms of texturing, we've been beaten to it.

Pinnacle

Powerhouse

Although we could get some cooler textures and perhaps revamp maps and stuff.

It IS true to Halo canon, and it was said that some rogue Forerunners left before the rings fired, and could've survived.

Also, Xoronatus, yes. We were beaten to it. But, they didn't add all the Raech features now, did they? We can. They just made our job easier.

Higuy: Is tmc_b and the story script coming out soon? I'm so stoked for that thing to come out. .

Petera: We shouldn't use the same exact maps that the guy who made those h3 pinnacle etc mods did though, rather, we should have even nicer textures.

@Tiel "No, it isn't...where did you read that? In addition, I don't see how adding a couple Reach tags to a map qualifies credit for it, nor should it require a team for it."

I read it from Halo 3. Filal Devotion was an actual rogue Forerunner. Look it up, wiseguy.
Also, we will not just be doing tag differences, that would be lamer than doing a bloodgulch mod. I have my own ideas concerning a Forge World, which I will not divulge to insolent fools outside my ability of explaining simple concepts to.

@Higuy "Lumoria makes fine sense, thanks." Maybe, but it doesn't fit in very well, and I won't be convinced how well it actually fits in until Episode 2 comes out. Oh wait, it got cancelled.
Unlike Lumoria, this is very specific. I did my research and came up with a relatively likely scenario inside a Forerunner Shield installation, when the possibility of surviving Forerunners was there. I even put in a bit concerning Dr Halsey and Jacob Keyes' relationship. Despite your disillusions, this in fact slots in lots of deep information I found.

@Spartan279 Ditto.

@Xoronatus See my reply to Tiel. Seeing as I trust you to understand, I'll PM you my ideas ot something.

Actually it fits in; but in case you didnt realize. this takes place at THE BEGINNING of the war.
Next; this scenario is not very likely. ALL THE FORERUNNERS WERE KILLED. ALL

Also, even a squad of Spartans could probably not even take down A SINGLE well trained forerunner without major casualties
And this plot doesnt show anything between the two.

Lumoria doesn't fit as far as I can see. No, not all of the Forerunners were killed. According to Halo Canon knowledge, they were killed, but it was also said in a terminal in Halo 3 that Filal Devotion, a rogue forerunner, left the Forerunners before the rings fired, presumably to a shield installation. He could've survived and just been trapped.

Also note that the rogues were not initially warriors according to Halo Canon, and young in the Forerunner community (all of this is not made up, it is legit from Bungie...). I would say an overshield would be the Rogue Forerunner shielding. Notice in Halo Legends how easily some highly trained Forerunner warriors fall to just a few flood infection forms. This could mean the armour is resistant only to certain weaponry, such as that which is light-based (civil wars), and projectile weaponry could penetrate shielding/armour.

All of your above points have been thwarted. I did my research.

When you say ALL, nothing is certain. Take some old human Empires for example.

But they're not fully trained at a young age.
