Anyway, beta testers are accepeted, I've got quite a few friends testing too. Muscl3r, I'm not sure if you're already in or not, but you've been in this thread for a while and are welcome to join anyhow.

yes they are, and i still don't know the plan, Are you planning on making a map pack to replace the entire halo CE map list, campaign multi player and U.I?

The original plan was a map pack, but now I'm thinking just independently released maps, put together when a certain category is done.

Well, I am also working on my firefight project. I'm setting up the gameplay to imitate the core Reach gameplay as much as possible. Also I don't know what the map should be called

Yeah, it's okay but rises quite fast. For best hovering use I continually press q on and off. I guess in a way it's more realistic like that.

no, mine doesn't go that fast, against my wishes whoever made that map made it go faster because they thought it was cool or something, mine i am still making it go slower little by little so it goes the same speed as reach

awesome. im gonna go check that map out to see how good the "reach" aspects of the game are

not everything in that map is halo reach, as it clearly stated in the description. H2 scorpion, and h2 wraith. Also, that DMR sucks and it's untextured. same with that sniper. You are impressed way too easily with all the custom reach stuff ingame in halo ce, Petera. No offense =\

Better looking than the sniper. The back of the sniper is too wide,and i can tell the model isn't complete. The scope is too small too. Mine is better.

if somebody wants to animate it and unwrap and texture it. But so far, nobody has stepped up for the challenge. One reason might be, because i made it in gmax. I'm not sure of how to get into 3ds though.

GOD! that map sucked... are you going to fix your sniper? I see some differences. not that it isn't still awesome.also what file type does gmax save in? if it saves in a .max you could say its from max
. if not im sure there are some .max exporters

it looks like stuff is missing from the back due to the angle of the picture. Alsp, it saves in .gmax...

The AR was completely made by IMBrokeRU. The DMR was made by Floyd, [poorly] animated by me, and then Spartan-094 put a ripped DMR skin from the Reach Beta onto it.

i would texture it and\or animate it because i'm using Gmax aswell, but i've never tried texturing and my animations are lame

does anyone have any solutions to my problem that doesn't require me to remake my sniper in 3ds? Because, I really want somebody that's good to texture and animate my rifle.

I don't know anyone besides myself who can even animate fp in gmax. Best bet is to compile what you have now into a gbxmodel and have someone import it into 3ds max.

i can animate in gmax and do, but as i said i am not that good at it

it will tell you you have open edges, to get it to show you, go into your model in gmax after trying to make the gbxmodel, and go into tool there is an option marked import wrl click it and go to your halo ce directory and you should see "weaponname.wrl"

Actually, 1337. Export the model as a .obj and give to willing FP MAX animators. Would be easier, in my opinion.
