Alright, so I spent today trying to reskin Powerhouse, it's not finished, but here it is so far.
























The water was tough to get working, but it has more of the Reach color to it.

The map probably needs new lightmaps.

I mostly worked on the closeup details, which were non-existent.

My retexture is NOT finished. What do you guys think so far?

i think it looks nice, but the water is just a little to green and (i think) it needs to be more transparent, just my opinion

cliffs in the first picture look like they need more variety in their formations. other than that, ain't particularly bad

Yeah, I was just changing bitmaps around on the original Powerhouse. Yeah, I think I will probably reskin the water.

Textures are fine, just fix the uvs. Some are way too tiled, and some don't even face the right direction.

like people said, the textures are allright. you need to fix the uvs though, there way off. the model also needs a lot of fixing up.

Textures don't look half bad, compared to the rather stretched originals. Despite the turquoise-ish colour of the actual Powerhouse map in Reach, I think just pure transparent/blue would go quite well. Like the sea in Death Island, or maybe more pure like in H2V. I'll send a link when I find the map with H2V-like water.

haven't yet, what i need to know is how to add a bullet counter i planed on using the one from the battle rifle in sandtrap, and they're is a marker named frame display, but it doesn't show up ingame, i have try'd adding a plane and putting the texture on they're it didn't work either< so i am at a los

Alright, I made the water slightly different. Oh, and I also showed the work I did on the ground from before. (again, I added in detail maps, which were non-existent in the original).






Yuck, that waterfall looks really strange. (Remember guys, I just reskinned the original Powerhouse, I didn't make the actual BSP though).

No I mean extracting bitmaps not screenshots.im using ascension app

meh i make my own stuff. i was just proving that content can be ripped from the retail game with the texture. The falcon is "custom" done by me, i was just showing that i had both model and texture.

in my opinion, it's ok to rip textures, but models should always be custom made.
