i know mine isn't that good but you have looked past a fair few things in yours to like that the body is to wide in the front.and the tail rudders are to angled out

I'm telling you guys straight out that hijacking cannot be done for CE. Also, you have to do jet packs through animation stances, not a vehicle. You'll never get it to work through a vehicle. I like your efforts, but don't go into what's not even possible.

@SlappyThePirate I believe everybody knows hijacking is not possible in CE multiplayer, though boarding and meleeing or hijacking in SP are fully possible, and a tecnique based on hijacking MAY be usable in MP. @ grunt_eater You've made a lot of contributions recently :-D Looks quite sweet, though how would you take it on and off? I fully support this, but also still stand by some form of portable spawner/effect activater, and think that a jetpack vehicle would work quite well. The view can easily be changed to first person fot those who dislike third person. Also, it means it's removable, weapons on your person can still by selected and used, the model can be replaced by my 'Deliver Hope' replication and it will be pickupable just like in campaign ( watch http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sq85cm01mjY&feature=channel from 3:20 to see what I mean by a pickupable jetpack (not a freaking hologram pickup station)). The only problems with a vehicle jetpack is usage limits, so the player doesn't fly throughout the mission. Also, I tried a kind of jetpacking tecnique in H2V using 'jump', which works fine but glitches out while boarding vehicles. If we include a in-built 'jump' jetpack in CE, and maybe something similar to hijacking for campaign, would it also glitch out when both things happen at once? Single player is possible because you can change the team of the ai or biped that's in the vehicle with scripts... and they don't count as real players. Multiplayer is entirely not possible. Two players of different teams can't be in the same vehicle. The only other, obscure way is to attach dummy vehicles that act as hijack seats with scripts. However, net players can't enter attached vehicles. And so ends the hijacking argument, unless you want to get into open sauce. Open sauce is a third-party thingy that will give you more programming freedom... but makes your maps incompatible for use on other computers.

ok so obviously you guys don't think that hijack is possible.i'm not getting in to that.because right now i'm working on animations.i have made an animations(in Gmax) and on the ghosts animation importer has an export buton on it but for some reason when i do that and export it and swap out the anims with the animation editor.it just looks like im crouching with a rocket launcher does anyone know the fix?

sorry don't have an xfire but for halo ce you must have halo maps version converter also some more info would help like does it open but none of your moddes work or does it not open or can you not open a map file ????? idk but heres halo maps version converter http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=1082 also sapean was working and now it wont load any of my scenarios does anyone know what i can do i have it set to run in computability mode and it open starts to load and then crashes any ideas? i have used sparkedit before on halo trial but you have to have the patches. and it does not work for halo ce plus it has a lot of down sides such as you cannot use other tags except for the ones in that map and sometimes ppf-o-matic (the thing you use to patch it) does not want to undo the patch and halo ce\halo trial won't load it

i was the same way the reason i got halo trial was because i saw an episode of RED-vs-BLUE it was the one with the ghost and i really wanted it so i got halo trial and it wouldn't show up so i went looking for how to get it and i found out about modding then i got HMT and swaped out the warthog for the ghost but my brother couldn't see it so i found a tutorial on putting in other vehicles and making it so people could see them and yes it used sparkedit
*this post has been edited*oh just found the fix to my sapien problem.i had it set to run in compatibility mode for 2008 service pack 2 and that wasn't my problem i had a corrupted tag that was in all of my scenarios and all i had to do was re rip the bloodgulch\icefields\my map with all of my ai tags and more in it.and now it works Edited by grunt_eater on Feb 2, 2011 at 11:20 AM

Ah BYOM (Build Your Own Mod), I remember when it was released, it was a huge boost to the Trial community.  There was also a version 2 released soon before I left the Trial community to join Halo CE. That was back in 2006 or 2007 I believe. I remember many hours toiling in HMT, HHT, and Sparkedit, but I remember making some really cool stuff. One of these that stood out was a complete Christmas mod, featuring textures I did myself and models too. The player was a grunt that I skinned to look like an elf. XD Oh the nostalgia... lol i made a Christmas mod to. i used the little blood gulch bush and the landing beacons and put in a bunch of Christmas trees

okay slappy i looked up halo ce slappythepirate elite spartan script i looked up halo ce slappythepirate scripts and found nothing so excuse me for including the fact that we are talking about halo ce :P.so new i have your biped tags and the script so i am guessing that i put the scripts in my haloce\deta\levels\mapname\scripts folder and put the tags in where i can obviously see where that they go and make it so you play as that instead of the halo 1 spartan compile scripts and build-cache-file?
