well, i am now able to finish the revamp, mooseguy sent back what he had finished, and just my luck, something gets corrupted upon ripping so i spent a full day and a bit today searching through my tags to see what was wrong, and i finally found it. the cmt elite v2 anims became corrupt when i ripped it, but thankfully mooseguy had a fixed version, so with all that finally over, i load the map and once again, something is corrupt, but this time instead of an exception access violation, it says that an animation graph is corrupt somewhere, mooseguy said try the laag turret, and thats what it was, so i replaced the anims and it finally loaded, i was so happy. now im going to finish this map, sorry for the embarrasing release, i was in a rush because of life but now that things are settled down, i can finally fix everything. be on the lookout for the re-release. it will be out as soon as i fix the final errors:
1. HUD icons (also need resizing) DONE 2. Gay jackals when on grunt side (can't figure this one out) i dont know about this one, its not a major problem, but ill see what i can do 3. Elites have bad animations (use default plz) once again, not a major problem, all they do is move towards you when you stick them with a grenade in their berserk anim 4. update: finished hud icons, it looks really good now, all weapons are matched up with their appropriate icon and name, so no more things like picked up a magnum when you pick up a plasma rifle, or it shows a picture of the gun turret when you pick up the battle rifle
more updates: changed the phantoms built in gunner to the cmt dropship one, so now its much smarter.

yes, its much better, mooseguy really fixed up the encounters so the ai are smarter, they seek you out, everything is improved
also, two final things left to do

fixed two errors today, i unchecked use player physics in the elite, so now he doenst run towards you when hes stuck, and he doesnt slide away when stunned
fixed the problem where if an elite drops the sword, it lets out a terrible screech sound.
one final bug and its ready to release

What ALL of the enemies SHOULD be doing when they're stuck with a plasma.

most, if not all the problems people experienced in my first release have been eliminated. i have uploaded the final to halomaps which has alot of bug fixes and improved ai. be expecting it as soon as dennis uploads. not that the first version hasnt been uploaded, so no worries about which is which

Dammit, well, it's ok. Just don't hang around on the death-drop side of the grunt side, and the jackals won't crowd behind the rock.  Anyways, you guys will know the new version, because it now has a hyphen in the name. There have been a lot of improvements since the crap version. The ones I can think off the top of my head: 1. Intro cutscene 2. Music is recompiled from a fresh version of the track that I edited for quality. 3. Slightly improved shaders for the enemies, most noticeable on elites. 4. Sword drop sound fixed. 5. Grunts aren't wolves, no howling. 6. Elites no longer gravitate toward you when stuck. 7. Screen fades out when all lives are gone, then fades back in to the start. 8. Starting ammo fixed. 9. Starting position and facing fixed. 10. Weapon ammo is fixed, guns now have enough ammo, plus some. 11. More weapons and ammo around the map, weapon facing and rotations fixed. 12. Spartan lazer is now on the other side of the map, shotgun replaced the old area. 13. A second health pack is in the far tunnel. 14. Shaders for phantoms are fixed (it had weird red-purple tinge). 15. Weapon strings are fixed. 16. Weapon pickup icons are fixed. 17. Grenade sounds are fixed (such as the plasma). 18. Grenade switching icons are fixed (idk if this was a problem, but it was for me). 19. Shotgun anims are hopefully fixed (I hope, idk if ShadowSlayer did this one). 20. Firing positions were completely redone. 21. Annoying sound preload is gone. 22. Some weapon tags are updated (such as the assault rifle) 23. SMG has a better muzzle flash. 24. Phantoms will try to shoot you (according to SS).Happy re-pwning! argh i hate protection. i had an idea. someone pointed something out to me "People protect their work so people dont take credit for their hard work. my idea was a little app where, when your done with the tag, add your name somehow to it. the only way to change the name is with a password. how does this sound?

Yea, well, the majority of the players of CE don't care about the small things going on in this community. Most of them just see the author of the map, and assume that person did everything. For instance, Sphinxbio has a large following of worshippers, even though he hasn't made anything by himself. Just because he sticks the rips in the map means that he gets the credit.
