Many doors and other devices are activated when the mc walks up to them. How is this achieved? Specifically, I would like to activate a device machine that does not have collision, nor does it have animation. It stays on when the mc is in the radius, but turns off when he is not. I have already tested automatic activation radius, but it doesnt seem to work without a collision tag with a pathfinding sphere

I 'believe' this is done by having a collision model that has a pathfinding sphere in the collision, and pathfinding obstacle box is checked in the device machine tag as well as the device position near $$ Device $$.

I would like to do this without collision, and without animation. Anyone know how to do it?

You need a collision model to do this. If its a hologram, just make a really small collision in the middle of the model.

Could you just use the ! material sign (render only) in your collision?
