Hello all, today I decided to release my High poly and low poly Halo Reach assault rifle.

If you do not know what to do with the high poly, don't touch it.
The low poly is NOT unwrapped, so you guys are going to have to do that. Currently I am unwrapping it to the ripped Halo Reach textures and will be releasing that as a separate release in a few days. Anyways here are renders of the low/high poly models. Hope they get used, enjoy. =)
*Btw, this was really my first high/low poly model, so I haven't baked it yet*

I can't open it. What version of .max did you save it as? I use 8 to use of Blitzkrieg.

Not funny. it's called interwebz sarcasm. And I'd probably enjoy looking at models better than having sex while I'm on fire, thatd burn, and I dont wann die, a slow painful death.

I kinda wish you skinned the models, because I had to rescale the entire model to about 1% of its original size to fit the rig, and I had to attach the seperate models to the mesh. That of course means I have to skin it myself

Awesome, spectacular model anyway. I'm just being a bit lazy.

Yes, yes I am. Between 2 other rigs (which I can only work on sparingly), school, homework, spending time with family, sports, etc. You'd be pretty damn lazy too.

Not even Technically I released that map like a week ago unprotected with four or five reach weapons i'm only technically the first person to release a reach AR? not to sound whiny or anything just thought i'd throw in my 2 cents

Nope it wasn't mine, but i released it none the less did i not? And if you look in the readme i give the authors of the models credit it said on the warehouse to feel free to use it just give credit so HEH!

and yours isn't ingame or atleast if it is the tags aren't released >.>

Josh, make this:


Try and keep triangle count for low poly at 4000 - 6000 Triangles.

And then the Falcon :P Ya see, Halo 3 stuff was being made slow and low quality by many people. And there was just different versions scattered everywhere.

So I have got a plan of remaking Halo:Reach stuff at a high quality such as sub'd model's so fake bumps can be made easy and textures can be made much easier. This saves loads of people making everything, so one tag set could be released of all of the Halo:Reach stuff. Pfft, and people complain about no releases... You lot should look forward to the future :)
