the BSP itself might go through a complete remodeling, dunno maybe.

It's pretty ugly to be honest, and i think we really need to fix the sand, it's jaggedy.

Well, it's up to you, but I think you should remodel the BSP, then release. The first thing I checked on Sandtrap V1 was it's BSP accuracy, and it's a little off. Sure you'll delay the release a little longer, but it'll be so much better than if you just release it now as Sandtarp.

Edit: While I'm at it, I better list some things I think should be fixed.

  • The Sand is obviously as you said jagged. Needs moar smoothing.

  • The arched blocks in the middle are way too shiny and edgy. Needs moar smoothing.


Also, will you be adding a better UNSC structure and a destroyed Phantom?

And that's the issue higuy, the FBX file thing didn't work for me, it gave me some error, but you might be able to open it.

What should the final map name be? Should it be:


HCE_sandtrap.

Halo3 CE Sandtrap

Choose one of these, or give your own suggestion. I want it to be basic and easy to recognize.

Jesse has given me the task of polishing the bsp, but I need to know from you all what to fix, as I haven't played the real sandtrap in years.


BTW, name it H3 Sandtrap, that name has always fit best. Just no brackets this time around.

Pretty much finished the tagging for the lift.

The FP is going to be replaced with the lift model and custom fp animations.
so are the 3p models.

Oh, update from me:

Currently fixing all weapons so that the thumb isn't pointing outwards. Might animate the shotgun too since I could probably copy Halo 3 in about a day like I did with the Magnum >_>

Is the 'Shine' quality in Halo 3 possible with CE? Sandtrap in H3 looks shiny and stuff , but the one in there looks dull and lacks lustre.
