I like it because it means instead of having to properly lead 2 melees to kill someone, I can feel satisfied when I get them in 1.

It sucks that being Australian, I almost never find <100 ping servers with sandtrap.

If someone modifies Sandtrap to where the infection spawn is at, you could place swords there. And have a special way to keep people out of it that are not infected.

Spawn in room with sword spawns and 1 way teleports out.

Spawn room underneath map with multiple one way teles out. Multiple makes tele camping harder.

How would I control it so that players don't spawn in there for normal games? What gametype does zombies use anyway, team slayer?

I don't really know but i think it runs on igbrainz so it should use team slayer.

Humans with spiker = ping fight. Zombies should be the only ones with melee instakill.
I've played in some new zombies server, Mousetrap without shields, and it was better.
The ones with <80 ping can't complain about it, though.

Dude everything is an opinion. Even some laws are created by opinions. Popular opinion, but opinion nonetheless. It doesn't need to be pointed out.

Oh yeah and 1 hit spiker kills are pretty dumb btw in my spoken, but meaningless opinion. But then again, so is blocking the sword in halo reach, because there are oh so many things that can block energy.

err idk if this is released or not,only read first and last page but.. i spent 3 days looking for the little easter egg cube-like thingthey had in h3,mayb make a model and put tht in the map?

It wouldn't really have any reason for being there. I'm pretty sure the one in Halo 3 is has a specific purpose, perhaps being the device that emits the airlift effects. If they had placed it there as an intentional easter egg, I would imagine they'd make it a bit more.... interesting.

also slappy mousetrap was a fail with zombies because people would use the pistols to the head and zombies would always lose :P then the glitch to get in the life pods

I would say the most fun multiplayer games I play are oddball on Mousetrap, providing people are honest enough not to cheat with the life pod glitch.

once again i know im not a map maker.

but i know there is different models depending on how far you are away from the 3rd person biped, maybe make one for zero distance or near zero so only you can see it? if its possible to change the show distance...

you would just have to break first person somehow so you can see the 3rd person legs model, i have no clue if that requires a third party program.

just an idea with what i know about the game tho.

That's true; it's called LOD (level of detail) model.

True again... It's hard coming up with something that you only see in first person, while also having it attached to the player (which is hidden by default)

CE's netcode sucks, and so does it's syncing. This is what makes it a horrible game, but it is also what makes it a great game where people can solve problems and do things no one thought possible in this engine. You achieve epicness by doing the impossible.
