ye,from what i see,most of the weapon are done now,they should just left the BSP and maybe mc animation to be done.

I've been working on it for quite a while now and I must say I am impressed. There's really nothing that can be done to the BSP as it would require overhauling too many things to keep this model. That means it would either have to be remodeled completely, or find someone willing to do tons of changes. I've got all the scenery and placements for it from halo 3. I got my xbox 360 now and I can see what needs to go where. I copied all the placements for scenery, weapons, spawns, and flags (flag, oddball ect.) I have done this completely for narrows and sandtrap, and I want to do it for foundry today.

I'm not particularly experienced (i'm not saying i'm bad, i just don't wanna make it sound like i'm really good...) with bsp modeling but i would be willing to help overhaul, atleast in the areas i can help with. Though, i hope i'm not digging my own grave (in a sense) though.....

Well, tagging is about 50% of the work. I think we can agree that the bsp is what makes half the map. Which is why I choose to do bsps, and also some scripting (to stretch the limits of CE).
Anyway, it's good to see that this map is being worked on. We need better maps on halomaps.

Will this next version have a way to make sure people don't sit on the really high edges of the map with the tank or other weapon? When this first came out, I found that people were leaving the servers a lot for this reason.

Tanks won't be included as vehicles. Chopper is substituted by a Ghost. There's still the issue with stopping the player from getting out of the map.

I also just finished editing foundry which took about 3 hours to copy all the scenery placement, keep it proportional, and copy all the player spawns, weapon spawns, and flags spawns.
I also tried to fix the BSP shaders and scenery shaders but there's only so much you can do when you have crappy lightmaps.




Keep in mind that Narrows and foundry are H3MT only.

Jesse, you should use a grate texture that looks more like this rather than the gate texture.

You would want one that looks a little better than this i think, but yeah, square grates like this would look best in there.
