The only thing that makes coluseum II stand out is the storyline; its one of the only maps with a competent story. To be honest, the population sucked, and gameplay was boring.

coluseum wasn't a good map... the only thing that made it stand out was the fact that it was one of the few sp maps uploaded with a custom bsp & not a multiplayer or single player bsp being reused.

Yes i understand that im putting down my own map set.
Island Assault is old. I bet the only thing that gave it such a rating is that fact that the n00bs love the AI spartans. & they're blue C:

Most of the ones on custom BSPs are nice. Biohalo is by far my favourite http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=1187 (surprised no one mentioned it)

This one is a must play, I loved it.

Keep in mind, you haters, it was just made by one guy yet it's still decently made and most of all: fun.

That was the first SP mission i ever played, ever. I thought it was the real Halo campaign for a while.

biohalo is a extremely good map. definitely recommend. :)

d40_revenge is a horrible map. no offense to the creater. Though im 100% serious when i say that i only still have the map is because i sometimes like to release stress by laughing at that infected dinosaur thing on drugs.

I wouldn't recommend BioHalo as it was just a test/tutorial map and was made of 5 boxes.

I've always wanted to play Contact but I get an exception when trying to start it. Go for Lodex' map.

Actually it was one of the first fully complete Halo Single Player levels ever made back in the day. (around 2004-2007)

I would say p0lar did a good job with it, with the information he had back then.

too bad no one ever releases the good single player maps to the public any more...

I think they made a third one called Infestation but it wasn't by the original designer.

What i want is a SP level w/ epic Cut scenes. Better then the original halo. how come no one likes to put Cut scenes in there SP?

Making cinematics is boring for most people.

Ive been wanting to just make a cinematic team lately. do you know how cool that would be to maybe make a movie. yeah it would take us a while but you can do a lot w/ the cinematic in halo.

i feel compelled to defend my map...

i think coluseum 2 (not 1, 1 was horrible) is unique because it utilizes my (cheesy) voice acting, which is something i find almost ALL other custom sp maps lack.

i wish i still had the time/effort/knowledge required to make number three, but da pope who was building me a BSP is effectively dead.

however:

if anyone who posseses the skill feels inclined, i would definately create a third that would, and i do mean to gloat, blow all other sp maps out of the water. i am also not scared this time to create a map in excess of 200 mb, as that was a limiting factor to coluseum 2.
