i've just had a problem compiling the scenario of my map,here is what the cmd said




C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition>tool structure levels\allysmap
allysmap
Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
building intermediate geometry...
building collision geometry...
reducing collision geometry...
building collision bsp...
### ERROR couldn't build bsp because of overlapping surfaces (orange).
### ERROR couldn't build bsp2d.
### ERROR couldn't build leaf.
### ERROR failed to import collision bsp.

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition

do i have to use the wrl?
if so how do i use it ?

you have surfaces that are overlapping each other in the model.

Import the .wrl (its found in your Halo CE directory with the name of the map, import it with out any of thing of the importing box's checked) and look for the orange face. There will be red and green ones as well. Once found where its overlapping faces, fix it, and then re export.

Sometimes they are smaller than like a molecule of o2, its a pain, so if you have to, delete all the other stuff you don't need (different colors) and try and segregate the orange, this works well when you got 700+ things in your scene.
