Trying to make a remote detonator for an explosive device in team games. In order to not explode the wrong bombs, is it possible to spawn one team with a weapon that cannot be picked up by the other team. Does anybody have and ideas on how it should be done.

Maybe you could make two separate weapons that are pretty much the same thing.

What's he supposed to do when he meets an enemy at close quarters?
Also, can't you just make those weapons disappear when the user dies? Like the first three grunts in campaign, you kill them and their PP disappears? Or zealots and FR grunts? Or are those scripts attached to the biped not the weapon? Edited by IcePhoenix on Jun 30, 2010 at 09:02 PM There not scripts. Its just a simple checkbox in the weapon tag.

I'll do that. But what it really needs to be is that each team is spawned with a different versian. It can't be found on the ground otherwise a team gains control over the other teams explosives. Also it needs to stick to walls and that and not be on single payer games like slayer. It would be great for it to be a third weapon. Say they have the two pistols and the explosive satchel.

(units_dont_drop_items) or some script like that. The FR grunts and Zealot Energy swords, yeah, its a checkbox. Edited by FtDSpartn on Jul 1, 2010 at 03:17 AM
