I'm not entirely sure if they make words for describing how amazingly orchestrated this was. Gameplay was perfect, as were the encounters. Throughout the entire mission, I only had three complaints:

•The Pelican is a little iffy.
•Omgosh why does that guy have a British accent?
•Where the frag is part two?! :D

All in all, it definitely deserved all the hype it's recieved, if not more. The boss battle was, admittedly, a bit anticlimactic. But I suppose this is largely due to the fact that, not realizing I was supposed to engage the Elite in an epic dual to the death, had emptied several rifle clips into it before the cutscene, delivering the final blow with a mere magnum.

I thought the boss battle sucked; at least in my playthrough. I plasma pistoled it before the cutscene activated (because I was out of ammo for the pistol) then I just shotguned it.

Lol, yeah i did exactly what dratt did, and ended the boss battle right away =P

A few complaints though nothing important:

Some vehicles drop off troops with scenery stabbing through them.

Some of the dropships such as the warthog pelican have no collision.

Friendly ai died a little too easily.

One of the odst's kept running into scenery for 2 minutes straight until i killed the covenant in the area.

And at one point my warthog got rammed into a tree and got stuck there.

Also, most of the animations were glitchy.

But i give it a 9.5/10 with how awesome it was.

I just finished playing. Great job!

I found a few errors though:
ODST and scientist would freeze before bsp change area.
Cyborg would disappear before ledge cutscene was over.
Pelican animation was good, but his legs went through it.
AI were not on "playfight" at last cutscene
No pod door hitting ground sound
You could kill the shield elite before the cutscene.
Ship cutscene has animations cutting out weird, bipeds went a-flying everywhere.
I was able to run through half the level without even fighting, lol. (Yes, I played it correctly the first time.)
I fell down the spiral area, and got trapped...and it checkpointed me there. I had to use super jump to get out...
I blew the shadow off the ledge... and the elites didn't die, so I had the restart from checkpoint, which was all the way back at the hog exit.

Other than that, I love it!
Music was chosen well
Buggers were super hard but not too bad.
FOV was cool, same with ar multi.
Use of secret stuff was nice.
The shadow itself was nice, what's up with the enforcer?
BSPs were EXCELLENT
Animations were great.
Encounters were engaging, I was pulled in.

Good gob, TM!

The best experience I have had since I got it all that time ago. You guys really captured that "feel" of Halo that is hardly in any of the mods on this site. Can't wait for episode 2!

.....ugh....when can we be expecting episode 2 again?

i booted the game up for the first time in over six months to play this

good:
good variation in levels
drones. seriously, props
decent level design
fuel rod placement
elite with shield
decent length

bad:
freaking needs more checkpoints
textures on custom models (seriously, stop with the "fake bump" crap, they look like black, cartoony outlines)
cheesy dialogue and bad voice acting
stereotypical fanfic storyline
cutscenes are bugged to hell and back
wasted sniper ammo on invincible elite as it ran, no freaking cover on the bridge. should have added more ammo pickups
final boss was easy as crap with a noob combo
boxxy easter eggs... screw that dumb ho

6/10, see if you can't get your next level to be an improvement

screw you a-hole how dare you have a different opinion and give it such a low score, this is clearly a work of the gods. you're obviously saying this is worse than all those other horrible sp maps out there, since your personal score is lower than the overall user score of the other maps

how dare your standards be so high. stupid ass. get the eff out. you don't even like halo

Probably gonna repeat someone else, but It was pretty good. There were several things that could be fixed however.

- Some of the objectives needed to be a little clearer. During the drone encounter, if you didn't release the sentinels the door won't open. I suggest adding a nav point or something.

- No offense, but the cutscenes were kind of lame. The story wasn't bad, but the sub-par animation and ok voice acting made it seem ish (The ending cutscene really ruined it for me, the animation there was was bleh).

- The encounters were really fun, but there were a couple of times were I need a bit more direction, as I said before I would reccommend adding some nav points for a more direx=ct approach.

- The boss dude was a cool idea, but it didn't really work out.

Other than those problems, the level was superb! I would definetly give a 9.5/10. Good Job.

@haloisahorriblegane: It seems to me you had really high expectations for this mod, keep in mind, it may use custom bsp's and such but it's not professionally made.

Say hello to MattDratt, our new cinematic director for TMC_B.

Hopefully, with him, we will be able to have a much more enjoyable experience with our cut scenes in Episode 2. We've seen that most people thought they were very buggy; and they were, we realize that.

Will we be able to download a version of Lumoria with just bugfixes such as these?

I just talked over Matt about a patch we will be creating; It will include fixed bug's and cut scenes. It will be released a few weeks prior to the Episode 2 release.

Lol a little soon to say, but expect a similar development time, about a year later. Don't quote us on that though. We're still in pre-development brainstorming stage!

Damn, and Dratt was able to fix my biggest problem with the map in less then a day. :O, a year to wait for the updated version alone is gonna kill me. ;)
