Map seems unbalanced. If there's only 1 way into the base, and it's completely open to the defender's fire, how is anyone supposed to attack the base? Also, from what I see, it's basically the base, a hallway and a center room, mirrored on the other side. That doesn't make for very interesting gameplay, since all the combats will probably end up in the center room. Add at least 2 or 3 ways into the bases that the defenders can't cover so well, and make side passages so that not all the battles are funneled into the center room. I have already thought of that. And keep in mind there is much more modeling to be done. Each base needs to be scaled up about 150% because i think my reference models are not the correct height. It was supposed to be more like a 15 foot ceiling in there. Also, thee is more modeling to be done. We just compiled what we had at the time for the base and storage bay just for fun. As i said before, this is not the map. It is merely a few aspects we had completed. You will be seeing a huge change in the bases i have been thinking of such as the stairs being wider and having rails, and I also hope to put in some computer consoles and make the windows have breakable glass. That weapon Idea I had, Ryan found a similar one that was actually going to be included in halo originally but never made it. It was called the gravity wrench. Also. After watching some old videos of halo beta, I saw that the rag doll effect was used. WHY THE HELL WAS IT NOT IMPLEMENTED!!!

There are some tiny seams but for the size of the cable, you would have to be looking through a sniper at close range to see them so I am pretty happy. I will still try to get them out though. when rendering in max you need to make a good render for your bump too look good. if not, sometimes it'll look bad. also don't use the nvdia normal map filter, thats only good for detail bump maps really, which in this case you can't do in ce.

I have Qwerty working on the HUD, Halo3Noob is handling the BR, SOS gave us an SMG, Geared is doing other weapons, Jesse is gibving us some tags, and I am doing all the population of the maps, including the Guerilla work, and we already have a good and working AR, Beam rifle, pistol, and SMG
so no, Slash is NOT the only one working on this, just the only one working on the BSP's
