Quote: Hello all, this is CodeBrain from the Halo Custom Edition Revival team, here to tell you our plans for our first Single player map.
It is going to be a remake of the famous Halo 2 E3 2003 level, called Cityscape.
With CAZ's Cityscape, we will do a FULL remake (Certain parts will not be in, due to BSP limitations UNLESS someone who makes BSP's helps us *cough*Arteen*cough*) with Halo 2 styled tags.
There are a couple of problems with the plan however.
1. Voices. A BIG priority, because I don't think I can do all the voices by myself :P
What that means is that I am looking for a couple of people to help me make dialogue for the characters. But don't worry, you don't have to make it, it is already made by Bungie.
2. Vehicles. Although we already have ghosts, and phantoms (by me), we do not have a Shadow to accompany them. This isn't really a big deal, but since we are going for "accuracy" I think we would need them, no?
3. Brutes. Yes, there ARE CMT's brutes, but no way are we using them D: Again, this isn't needed except for accuracy...so...
4. Weapons. Currently we can make our own weapons, so this generally isn't a big deal.
This thread will also house our photos and videos of the SP in general, so you can see our progress. Once we have a general rundown of the map, I will start broadcasting it.

So wait, you're making the demo level from 2003's E3 for Halo 2?
I was planning to make that, even made the reload for the Battle Rifle (which I hate) and asked Joshflighter to attempt making the BSP. 'Course, I didn't bother much with it, but if you want me to animate anything I can give it a shot if you don't already have someone to do so.

meh. It was decent. I can voice act also. If you need an elite that is. But other than an elite I can't do right now because ubuntu is screwing up audacity right now. I got a bad mic also. I need to get a new one.

The problem is that you do what most machinima makers do.The voices is a important part and you got to make it sound realistic.That didnt sound realistic it sounded like some random guy talking into his mic with no goal to achieve..Put more feel/emotion in the voiceacting and youŽll be all good..

ok by CAZ's bsp, do you mean the one used in cityscape adrenaline? thats the only way that looks like the h2 E3 demo bsp...and for my sp level, i use a team index of "0" so literately in sapien i click on spawn points and just right click where-ever....

Someone apparently epic bumped, according to Gmail, so...
Update:
Currently I had formatted my computer, and as such Halo CE is telling me my product key is invalid. Ouch.
So now I am in the process of getting the game again and reinstalling the game.
So far I have the backbone in the works...
1. Beginning Marines 2. Turret guys 3. The covies in front of the turret guys 4. The Covie turret.
Thats all for right now though.
