Yeah , lower the height of the turret.
As for the skybox , i dunno.

Like I said, these were not final, but I am sure you read that :)

Anyway, the color is probably shader related, Ill look into it.

That turret isn't even the right one, just picked it out of my tags folder to see if it would fit or not. Guess it doesn't, huh?

The skybox is a bit dull, I have tried changing the sky (to a dark sky) however the level still stays bright. No idea why.

It's lightmaps or radiosity, one of the two, positive it's lightmaps though. You can put a suny sky in the Truth and Reconciliation, but that won't make it a sunny level.
