The gun on the other page were rifles. As I explained earlier, I'm pretty sure the Forerunners won't leave their rifles lying around. We need a turret. As for the concept, we're kinda at a loss for it. Use your imagination, while we recharge ours.

Use your imagination basically. Draw your own concept art if you have to. We don't want spin-off's of other peoples content, we want custom content.

Here's an idea for a forerunner weapon: (if your'e still doing this), (I know this sounds dumb, bare with me), maybe the eye beam of a guradian sentinel:http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Guardian_Sentinel that was cut from (you guessed it), Halo 3 but since it was never in game (to my knowage), you could make a custom spinoff of it. It could fire a very powerful version of a sentinel beam (a diffrent color too), or a beam similar to Guilty Spark's lazer. That enforer spiker/needler idea is still up though.

Also, I hate to ask but, maybe the guardian sentinel could be some sort of mini-boss or something (just a idea, don't flame mah :^).

Well, besides the Forerunner spears and the rifles (if you guys really are shunning eveything that has to do with H2 or H3) , that's as much as custom ideas as you're going to get unless anyone else has been brainstorming.

I've got a couple of ideas for Forerunner tech. My first thought was that Forerunners, as advanced as they were, probably wouldn't wield weapons themselves. They would either use Sentinels (maybe closely controlled rather than fully automated this time), large vehicles, or spaceships/gigantic superweapons as seen in the games.

One thing I thought the Forerunners might use on their own self are personal defense equipment. These would be available at dispensers, or be found at the heart of Covenant ships (?). They would do things such as:

-Improve your movement speed (leggings)
-Increase melee speed and power (power arm)
-Higher jump, maybe limited flying ability (gravity repulsors)
-Energy shield (shield generator)
-Ability to control sentinels (sentinel controller/Forerunner transponder)

So on and so forth. Of course these would have limited power sources, and using them (like meleeing with the arm) would drain them faster.

Yes? No?

I can read and speak a bit latin, wow, i finally know why we're learning this friggin old unused language at school!

That forge was not meant to be in, as I said before, I can't totally haul my tag set over for each build of this campaign, I have others running too that need more builds.

Actually I totally feel for that idea, but I gotta make a turret first. Hurr, it's gonna be hard to "make one up" if you already know about:
-The covenant shade turret from halo 1
-The covenant shade turret from halo 2
-The human turret
-automated turret
-snowbound turret
-and a few others
so yea it's gonna be hard to ask me for a turret with no influence from other things at all...


DO NOTE: every weapon from the forerunners were based on HEAT, as that was an effective weapon against the flood. so nothing with steel or whatever, just heat based weapons.
the eye of a guardian in a turret would be a good idea, but not the guardian itself

Forerunner styled. You can be inspired by the automated turret. Look at it's shape, and position. Try to create another turret based on that style, but NOT AN EXACT COPY. Also, it must be mounted, not a flying thing like the automated turret.

Yea I will make an antigrav mount with base, antigrav is forerunner like anyways, sentinals are build off that tech. lol



this is the old juggernaut, well atleast you know it's ingame, im working on the AI for it, i need someone experienced with AI to help me with it though

hurr well lemme just say it now, all you have to do for me is to make a custom hunter actor/actor variant to let it only charge and bash, melee or dash don't care prefer both, but im gonna rig it as hunter.

And I'm working on the H3 Elite SP HUD since this is SP and the SP HUD in H3 is different from the MP HUD. noone will care about the minor differences since you only look at what you need: the numbers, but I do like detaills.

Is it just me or does the HUD visor outline cut abit too short?, or is that just because it's overlayed with a H2 Screenshot? Also the outline is way too opaque, make it easier to see through.

I think it's just the picture , when playing the auctual game , it wont be Square , but slightly rectangular.

I've completed one handed animations for the assault rifle. However, I can't show you guys, because someone won't give me the Flood FP arms, and the melee looks extremely weird with Spartan arms.

blame M$ for making crappy beta's, i'm running windows 7 beta wich just crashed, it's not like i wanted it to totally lock up to let me reinstall it

I'm running the Windows 7 RC right now, and I haven't had any problems.

First of all, no. No to your crap saying that i said fine, because I sure as hell did not. And I have a big bloody chat log folder to prove it. Whether you mis-understood waht I was saying or what I don't know, BUT I NEVER SAID THAT IT WOULD BE IN THE CAMPAIGN, and from the posts here, from the team members aswell, you should have used common sense to deduct that i would never support it. I put up with you posting irrelevant pics in this thread because your already get enough harassment from other members. You damn well know that I said Flood HUD only, and commented several times on only the flood part. Why? Because thats whats supposed to be used in the campaign.

I don't know whether this is a big mis-understanding on either of our parts tbh. I am sorry if you wasted time. But next time you see something like my post, I think it'd be more appropriate if you didn't flip out as much.

Things have been done. For example, I've finished the one handed AR animations. I just can't show it off, because BP won't give me the Flood FP arms. Also, a forerunner turret that we may be using:


Concept by Advancebo, modeled by Advancebo, with some help of Bungie's Sentinel, and soon to be animated by Advancebo. Needs textures though.

If getting into the turret brings it into 3rd person, make sure the swivel anim includes stepping.
