Like I said, these are "Beta"s, and the only thing ripped from Flat Out 2 is the 2 destroyed vehicles, they are always destroyed, they are scenery. And the "Dodge" sign has the "G" fallen off.
Why do you guys care? If you don't like it, leave. No one wants to hear criticism, if anybody does, than there just out to feel better, because they see something that is better than what they can make.
Seriously. And those two blown up models are "User Made" for Flat Out 2, if you didn't pay attention to Cody's link, it was a site that provided the downloadablity of vehicles made for Flat Out 2, by users of that site. EVEN IF, we were to use their model(s), we would ask for permission.
The Coronet is made by a friend of Cody, but Cody rigged, animated, and did a little modeling on it.
The Caution Cone, its for our racing map, for a little bit of extra scenery, they move when hit.
The skins and models? I'd like to see you make those models (by yourself), rigging, animated, and look decent.
The Coronet, (the car), textures are being redone.
And if you have any further opinions, than tell them without an insult. A negative opinion should at least have an alternative.

This post reminded me of one of the age old implied rules of this forum: Don't post your work if you don't want us to critique it. I wouldn't go there if I were you pal. I can name about 50 people in this community who can do what your doing by them selves and still have it be 5 times better than this. These models and skins look thrown together and rather rushed. if your going for a beat up car look on these then add some scrapes on the metal, some rust, and a few dentslike many many many many many people on this forum have said: Everyone here wants to help you because in the end, it's going in a game that they play. Some people are just more blunt than others, but that doesn't mean that their crit is useless.

Getting back to topic, here is an image of the Chopper lent to us by the "Halo: Covenant at War" Team. Its not done, buts its on its way there. (This is not the most recent image) ( EDIT: We have it for the Movie, and wanted to make a Halo Custom Edition version, so it can be driven!) Very detailed, and low poly, very nice too! Does the tow truck actually tow? That would be sweet. We are working on the "towing part" (don't ask how we are going to do it, wait till we are done, then ask :) .) And my Laptop is a 2001 Dell Latitude with only 16mb of graphics, and 564mb of Ram, I am hoping to get a 100gig HD, and a 1gig Ram chip for my PC this Christmas. He just started, once he gets all the vehicles ingame, he will finish them. The shaders are unfinished.
Also, Flat Out 2 vehicles have been converted into many games, and can be downloaded off the internet. Nothing illegal about that. Even so, the models from Flat Out 2 have been heavily modified to look better. All the rigging, animation, and modifying was done by Cody.
None of our models were ripped, they were downloaded, and were designed for Flat Out 2, Cody modified those models to look better, and more notable, then rigged and animated them for ingame use on Halo Custom Edition.
They were never taken "from" the game, just taken from some an assortment of vehicles "made" for the game.

High Poly means more work went into detailing it. YES, it could be lower poly, with good detail, but it is not, a most likely, will not.

Back on subject, we have some good news, I am getting my Desktop up and running, so i should be able to make maps, model, animate, better screenys, and play games MUCH better!
Its a 1999 HP, refurbished, Windows 2000 Pro (soon XP Pro), with 191mb Ram (Being upgraded), and a total capacity of around 50 gigs.
Not the best, but I got it for free from a friend, it has a new floppy drive, and a rare ZIP drive.
More on this as it develops. (LOL)
