and? Just because it's a different movie doesn't justify that you modeled it wrong. The model itself is really good just not capable for a movie or any scene for that matter. You need to work on your workflow.

(fastest one I have ever seen.) What he does with his model is his business. Let him do with it, what he wants. I think it'd do good in a sci-fi, action and vehicles in the desert.

Howcome you guys listen to Donut when he says ALL of your vehicles are too high poly, but when I say it you toss it aside and take it as "oh, he doesn't know what he's talking about, i'll just wait till someone else says it." Honestly, you guys need to learn to take crit. You obviously still haven't learned anything, because 15000 polys for that is way to high. Something like that could be made with about 8000 if you're doing it right. Learn how to displace polys and learn how to take crit. It's getting stupid how obnoxious you are. "Oh, it's not finished yet, still need to do *blah blah blah*" Well then, why not actually do what someone says you should do, and try it out? That is really the only way you can get better at anything, instead of always saying it's not done and crap like that.

Uh, the Ranger is about 7000 or less Polygons, and the Buggy is not even ready, give it a break. Also, I will have some good news soon, it'll be about 3 new vehicles.

I got bored, so I decided to play around, and make these: This is my truck. And this is the Truck Component that comes with SketchUp 6. I modified the entire thing, even the cab. And made it into a utility truck! TADA! (RANDOM BOREDNESS STRIKES AGAIN!) Edited by KillerKip1 on Dec 20, 2008 at 02:04 PM

Quote: --- Original message by: RHP_REDHAZE the triangle count is 16000 about, so is that way to hihg, cause about a 1/3 of that is cause of wheels and tires lol... Yes that's way to high for that. Make the tires and wheels lower, and texture bake them with the detail, so it looks like you modeled it like that still.

This is just one of the three vehicles being added to our collection. These were Made by Todd, Thanks Todd! (We have asked permission to use the model, and it is not from a website, it is from a mod.) This model is currently TOO detailed, so we have to lower the polys by a large number, OH YEAH, and its a Toyota Land Cruiser Fj40. Edited by KillerKip1 on Dec 20, 2008 at 03:21 PM

Okay, I am going to see about releasing a Vehicle Alpha Testing map. It will be available for download from me, so add me 'WHEN I SAY WE ARE GOING TO RELEASE IT", it is an idea, and I still have to talk about it with everyone else.

They move a bit too fast, and hard to control. There was no lag, though I was running in a LAN game with no other players. I would suggest changing the material types on the shaders to metal because currently, dirt clumps splash up when the vehicle is hit. The tires were a nice addition.
Decent.

Anyways, back to business, we are working on getting another vehicles ingame, maybe the Dune Buggy (by Red Haze) next. It'd be an excelent addition to the "Halo CE Vehicles".
Plus, its big and it looks cool hehehwhahwhahwhah. *crazy moment*
