Kids also put AI in their maps which no one downloads because AI do not sync so its stupid... /end QFT. Mods are only worthwhile if it isn't just a few AI and vehicles thrown in.

Well, i saw that a lot of people made vehicles being able to stand on with the use of devices, by attaching them. Maybe you could try that for the part where you have to get on?

Not just a Map. well, again, a reference to morrowind, mod is short for modification. any sort of modification. morrowind has many mods for it, some ranging from simply changing lighting effects (see dark morrowind and lighting 300 mod) to adding new buildings to a city (see balmora expansion), to all new areas (see Sea of destiny and bloodmoon's slosthium island) by your definition, gears of war is a mod in itself and bioshock is a mod, seeing as they both use the unreal engine

If Bioshock had multiplayer and a descent developer kit, I would move to it if I could add custom bipeds and weapons. I think that game is one of the best I've played. Definitely interesting. Halo CE is still great regardless, especially considering vehicles.

In an attempt to re-rail the subject... Have you made any changes to the scarab or are you still taking a break from it? Also, supposing you were putting it ingame as a vehicle, would the main cannon be part of the vehicle as the weapon with a gunner seat (like the phantom in extinction) or will it be a separate vehicle all together?

So I can't stay on for long, And I need to model a Halo 3 Pelican for someone and the Halo 3 Mauler for Penguin. If Haloguru is animating it, I hope he can get the animations to vary like it does in Halo 3 and not like the Scarab in CE. What I mean is that if the ground is higher or lower, the scarab leg would actually adjust to it and make contact instead of stopping in mid-air.

Yea. Halo CE's version of the blam engine does not have foot detection. It generates basic collision using the frame of the biped's rig.
