I like the spiker's sound, mainly because it sounds like a cross between an SMG and a Spiker. The crosshairs are pretty good, just that the Beam Rifle's looks a bit...Well, doesn't have the feel for a sniper.

If you want suggestions, here's a few of em:


  • Change 'XXX was killed by the guardians' to 'XXX was killed in action'. That way, it sounds more custom and makes sense (guardians in a battle? Sounds more like a Diablo 2 thing).

  • Keep the sword and crosshair but to make things fair, make the holder have double/triple health (depends on the AI and what the AI is).

  • Improve the AI. Make it a bit hard in groups, but not so hard that it makes you want to kill your PC. What's a battle without some fight? The teletubies, that's what!

  • On the motion tracker, it would help players a bit if you make a white, round dot to show your location. Don't make it move, so then Halo newbies can actually tell who their enemy is and who they are.



And I can't wait till this is out. I would help you out, but I sort of suck with crosshairs and map making (always seem to screw up in Sapien, somehow with the quality).

getting a new graphics card wont help lol its because halo does terrible with ai and will lagg regardless if anyone else other than the host is in the game.

I never play maps with AI in on Internet... they're designed for LAN to be played with yourself I figured. There is no lagging at all, the AI are perfectly up to campaign standards etc. Why would you play this in Internet at all?

1:Fun
2:Good for movies
3:Can improve ones aim and skills
4:Can calm people down

Yeah it might be able to calm people down but the map needs work on the ai.

Guess you don't need to ebe told that. :/

Yes but i like the way it improves your aim i used to be real bad at halo but when i played this for a few hours i got the best aim i practiced it on z sanctuary and i got 117 kills when everyone was trying there hardest

I have decided to take a little rest from halo mapping so there probably wont be any updates lately but keep posting and keeping this thread alive and who vote's that i release the spiker with fixed hud and sound and the ma5k with a fixed hud plus the same for the smg

The Flood sound is there like in v2 where on the engine you can hear flood with some ooze dripping
and the armory is there because it is scenery and it wont let me put it outside plus on xfire i'm giving out pb2.4 with some bugs fixed with new items and weapon anima's

Oh yeah open the smg.gbxmodel and go to the gun's shader model and there should be a detail map that is red remove that

i installed it in the wrong part of the cmt tag directory so it couldnt find the right tags for the spiker so i re-installed them

IMO I didn't like GBOA 1 and 2. But this looks alot sexier. I LOVE The hud. If this is edited to be a Single player map aswell that would be great because the Single player maps dont lag as much as Multiplayer with all the AI. Also if you want I can make weapons for you, If you want to see some of my works just xfire me (Xfire: haloslayerz) And I can send you some examples.

There is something missing in the mod. Idk, but I think it has something to do with the Rangers and enemies from above.

Sorry guys if i have'nt posted any updates but at home i lost my internet and have to use the school computer but heres my updates in text: I have completely overhauled the hud and introduced 4 new weapons. The Spartan Laser,Missle Pod,Mauler, and the Gravity Hammer
