It's really the angle of the biped and the MA5k isn't just a one-shot weapon; it can go automatic in a second. Speaking of which: More pics of the weapon for those who want to see it in a better light. I have scaled down the Flood's health by 10-15 points from their previous 300. The Rocket flood are more DANGEROUS, even on easy. The rocket will hit you in a seconds notice. The Flood can now be beaten with: AR- One Clip Ma5k- Not even half a clip. *Anything else is pretty much the same, but better because the Flood's health has been reduced. I want to explain something right here though: There is a difference between the Ma5k and Carbine in this mod. Pics to illustrate: The MA5K The Carbine The Ma5k is an automatic/semi-automatic weapon. Short update-The following are recent developments: If you recognize this spiker model, please tell me ASAP. c40 + DestructiveRocketLauncher carrying Flood = arg, arg, and even more arg. That is just on easy. c20 + New MA5K = not AS boring, but makes you wish you could end the level by the second lift still. The ending of the level is more fun though. Advancebo gave me a new crosshair for the new MA5K. I'll post a pic soon. Due to me screwing with the effects tags of a splazer and messing it up, we now have two Rocket Launchers in the game. One explodes and other obliterates. Normal Launcher + Anit-Air CMT-like Projectile shooting Launcher. Anything that is hit dies. Even from behind a rock, full shields on easy. I still have the same spots open for weapons. They are: -Pistol -Plasma Pistol -Shotgun -Rocket Launcher Possibly -Any cool new weapons somewhat related to Halo. Discuss. More pics to come soon.

Darkhalo, I have a better looking version of H2 Armor, though it doesn't look like H2, a little more on the "realistic" looking side with fake bloom chits: I am unsure of whether or not yours or this one is rigged better, but I think this one is more pleasing to the eye as opposed to armor that is as glossy as my friend's new car. Maybe you can hit me up on xfire sometime if you are interested, Darkhalo. Comes with similar looking FP Arms and various shader setups. I will probably use this in my map, which is coming along slowly, but as right now I have nothing to do, I will be working on it whilst listening to some 80's MetallicA.

Well, you would need to have completely new animation sets for them because they have no death animation or anything... unless they are out of the way to where you cannot possibly kill them.

in the weapon tag, theres a section and it has checkboxes, uncheck the part that says: must be picked up, then u have to manually pick it up like in halo 3

New-old Stuff added into the mod, including the now producible b40: (Before some of you see this, there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for it) And we now have Carbines courtesy of Donut, wherever he may be. Last time we talked about it, he said he didn't mind me using the Carbine, so here it is: Turrets come with Phantom Gun. Phantom Sold separately: Now before anything else happens, here is another good biped I found for the mod: Not sure who's this is, but it looks good. What do ya'll think? The first biped shown in the thread or the second? Any suggestions worth attempting? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update time: - Grunts will not have the Needler o' Hell casually in levels. Unless they are specops or are on a ship, Grunts won't hold it. They are annoying enough as is. - Doan's rigged H2 elites, possibly ODSTs, and maybe Jackals will appear in the mod. If he releases the Hunter, it may be in there as well. - New AI may appear in the mod. If Doan decides to release the Honor Guard, you'll see them in there, plus the CMT Rangers and other Elite AI. - Jackals like the Carbine. They use it well. I've actually died a few times fighting across the room from one.......and there were no headshots enabled. Jackals may get their very own Needler depending on a few variables. Jackal Minors carry the Carbine after b30 as a security measure in the Covenant. Jackal Majors carry the needler, but unless they go crazy with it does it do anything. - Grunts are unchanged unless in a50, d20, or d40. In c40 they MAY wield more recent forms of the Fuel rod, but nothing is certain. - Hunter Majors have a black/white coloring. They are only ONE of the reasons why you have the Coldsnap Sniper. 500 health doesn't quite die from a few normal sniper rounds, but if you can get a clear shot in the back with a pistol (you'll rarely get to use one after b30 if not at all), Precision Carbine (NOT the Ma5k), or Sniper they'll kill over by default. I am trying to change that. Some other new stuff may occur to them as well. - Elites Wield the carbine. Majors replace the PR with the Carbine at b40 and Ranged Minors have it from the start. No elites use the Needler. They won't use the Beamer (nothing will). They are the H2 rigged models by Doan. - Sentinels come in Gold and Silver. Gold have dangerously strong beams. Silver are the normal ones. - The spiker has been given another chance to be more accurate. - There will be a standard sniper alongside the Coldsnap one. - All levels have been compiled at least once. Every level is now accessible and the mod will only continue to get better as time goes by. Remember to check the Front Page for Percentage updates!

Yeah, I liked the older one too. There is still a bit that needs to be done, mainly on the AI side of things. Bigger encounters on c40. Maybe a bit of music thrown in.

New AR model I found: This pic demonstrates an all elite encounter. My shield was fully charged and more health when I first started the encounter. It recharged a bit, but was interrupted by the hurling of spikes from the spiker and then the finishing shots were from the red elite with the carbine. I respawned to take the approach more cautiously. I had the luck to have the red elite beaten before I reached the two minor elites. The ODSTs on the spectre gave me backup as they gunned down anymore grunts in the area. There are two things I want to say first. One, this AR is WMP Dismal's, so if any of the makers could contact me about it possibly being in the mod, that would be great. Two, what do ya'll think about a change in the AR. Do you like it more now or do you want to keep the older AR in the thread? This is a community mod, so every thought matters. BUG REPORTS: A new segment of the update involves the Bug Report.
