Different lighting. Old pic is old. New pic will be new. I fixed the bitmaps. they're much better now.

I am still optimizing the very shorelines of the riverbed. I have the inner shoreline optimized though. It has half the tris, but looks exactly the same... that's because, in a way, it IS exactly the same, but when I hit "tesselate", I only wanted each of the shoreline polys to be cut width-wise (which would allow easier shoreline modeling, easier to connect riverbed to rest of level, no huge ugly polies/tris)... so I had go and d... you know what? Screw it. No one wants to read my rambling :)

4859 tris thus far.

Jahrain made that sky. But I do not like the cyclone above. Be sure to change the cubemap to a greyish one.


Also, I was fooling around with lens flares when I got this interesting effect:


Two suns. But one is the size of a basketball. I think I may use it for some of the lights in my next map. Zomg bloom? Oh yes. Zomg bloom.

I'm going to be fooling around with this more.

Interesting. I think it should be up to someone to complete the entire Dusk sky. It splits in half after a little while.

The sun on the right isn't in the sky, it is just above the red base in Battle Creek.

-I hope to have this done soon. It is definitely getting close, if not almost done. I'm now working on weapons, adjusting AI, and getting the mood done correctly.

-There will be more scenery to add in levels (like Keyes and the Library having Flood crap everywhere) and there will be a special Ma5k (Floyd's with an attachment of awesomeness) used for some flood levels.

-I have the skies I want now and the only levels worth acknowledging about having no super-extra stuff would be b30 and c10, but c10 has the emotional quality I like in its kind of level, so that's alright.

-c20 is almost perfect, but it will have some encounters that may make you happy planned and the fog needs to be thicker.

-Spartan has b40 taken care of and we are planning on making a30 have a different theme, but I am still thinking of the best solution.

-We won't have time to add BSPs in on AotCR or TB ( ), but they have their own new touches that will make them better.

-a50 has had no significant changes other engineers.

-The infamous Halo Skulls will be in almost very level. Levels I won't put them in are probably going to be AotCR and The Maw because of how large of levels they are. There effects are going to be varied and they are more like extra weapons that you would not use normally. You will probably needs checkpoints to ensure they don't disrupt where you were planning to leave off in the game (Nuke Skull & WTF skull ftw).

-My hope is that the mod will be done before SPv2 because I know people will acknowledge that more than this one because many more people know about SPv2 than they do about my mod. No, I will not be posting this Community Mod at Modacity because I like to keep things in one general spot. I hope to have this finished by the end of September. Until, I'll keep showing updates and tell whats what. Make sure you check the front page for percent updates as well; they change almost every update.

i dont no if any 1 said this but anyway jackals have no central nervese system 2 tap into 2 infect,carier forms are created from combat form. if the combat form wantes 2 be a carier then it becomes 1 if it does not want 2 become 1 it does not (kinda like the same thing with the gravemind)

I Jackals didn't have nervous systems, then they'd be lifeless. Your nervous system is all of the nerves in a body and the brain.

Pure forms are created through enough Biomass to sustain it. Basically, pure forms are perfected Flood frankensteins. They also have the behavior of the organism in which was infected by infection forms.

We thought of Volcanic or Desert, but Desert never looks great and Spartan refuses to do b40 as a Volcanic level. Why can't I do b40 then? My Sapien hates b40 and a10 with a passion. It also allows me to focus on other matters of the mod. I am also looking into a replacement AR and Spartan says he'll hand me a Brute Spiker....and now we MAY add a ripped MODEL. It's the CoD4 heavy artillery sniper I believe, but I don't play CoD4 so I wouldn't know. Either way, it is either that sniper or the Coldsnap Sniper. Why? Because I like Snipers that go BOOM when I shoot it at a Hunter or Elite badass.

The leaders of TCEM are still plotting ideas for our first major project. During and after this mod, I will be doing various other projects, such as my own maps, plus a few things people may not expect. Either way, I will still be in TCEM, but I will be doing my own stuff as well.

No. We aren't adding new objectives because of time. There would also be little to no point. You are a Spartan that is taking on enemies to reach an objective, not a pilot who drops off the Spartan so that spartan reaches the objectives.

No. We aren't adding new objectives because of time. There would also be little to no point. You are a Spartan that is taking on enemies to reach an objective, not a pilot who drops off the Spartan so that spartan reaches the objectives.

if u shoot it, the spikes are gone. clip goes in the top, clip comes out the top. spikes come out the front. the drum doesnt have to do anything

In a real gun, it would be for storage. The drum would just give you extra room to add more ammunition. In the H3 spiker, its the magazine for the weapon, and in this the clip would feed into the magazine, which is the drum.

noz the clip in this spiker is the thing u load into the top. the spiker doesnt have to be like halo 3 :/ a spiker can even be made to load a barrel through the front
