I don't know. Interesting weapons, but they need to be redone or scrapped.
I don't like the armor plates for the bad guy, or the "Wire circutry" look on the good guy. But otherwise its a pretty good start.

Working on some semi-high resolution marines. I think I'll make some FP arms for it once I'm done and release a playermodel. :D Edited by ChocolateNugget on Dec 12, 2008 at 10:07 PM

Has some weird smoothing around the nose and eyes, but you got a fairly good human shape.

I haven't quite finished working on his head. All that this is, are a few edits to the original model. :p

Isn't it 100x smaller? Or are you intending it for MP use?

They are not, but 100x was an over-exaggeration on his part. Never-the-less it may only look that size due to the camera angle e.t.c. And even if it is bigger, maybe so we can see it properly maybe? All viable explanations I would say.
Note: Not trying to be rude, though it may seem that I am -.-.

has anyone noticed that the plasma rifle looks alot like that thing? idea: If you blow it up in game, instead of just picking up the beam you pick up the entire sentinel and use the default plasma rifle animations for it.

Dude. Its a constructor. I question weather or not the thing can even HOLD a cutting beam, nevermind an offensive weapon.
Yea, i think they looked like a plasma pistol, but about 3/4 of the size.

Its shaped similar to the plasma pistol Its about half of a sentinel It wields a construction beam thats thin and green, and does little damage to you.

The laser is used to activate pistons. I swear I read somewhere that the laser damaged a lot, but never fired on you.

I swear I read somewhere that the laser damaged a lot, but never fired on you. it does. at the beginning of one of the arbiter levels in halo 2, where you start with a carbine with 78 backup rounds and a plasma pistol (yeah i have a weird memory), constructors are working on this destroyed floor. they are shooting their little lasers at it. they will not fire on you, however your reticule turns red on them, and if you walk into the beam while they are firing, it hurts alot. almost instant death on legendary

yeah. And if i recall correctly, i think i tried it, it took like half a cartridge from the Carbine, but the damage on the piston controls opened it. So i think the constructors are like that to open the pistons by actual damage. The possible theorys are limitless.

nah, it wouldn't fit the feel. Halo is a very bright and colorful game, but space marines should have a dark environment. Plus, they look silly next to MC without all the heavy voices and fluff stories.
btw, i play tau and imperial guard. Edited by Headhunter09 on Dec 21, 2008 at 09:21 PM

My final (yeah I know I've probably said this before but this time I mean it) mp_cyborg shaders: All bitmaps compiled in 32-bit color to ensure best quality, and to make your map file sizes far larger than they should be!
