I have them working together for the longest of time. Maybe it's because I'm still using Windows 7? (confused face)

Man I must be really behind the times, I didn't even think they had compatibility in the first place.

Quote: --- Original message by: DoodleSama Does this mean I can safely upgrade to Windows 10 with both HAC2 and OS coexisiting Btcc? Don't do it, Windows 10 is a mess. Admin/user accounts don't have full permissions, so you randomly can't access folders or files, you can't save to directories. Default browser is now set by windows settings, and it wouldn't even let me choose Chrome. Links in Teamspeak weren't clickable. Random program crashes, where the desktop would decide not to work anymore, so I couldn't use task manager to close offending programs. Using programs for CE was just a pain. I had to manually set permissions for 3ds max directories, halo directory, photoshop directory. You would think the admin account would have full permissions, but apparently not in Windows 10. I formatted and re-installed windows 7 after the first 2-3 days. Edited by Imouto on Sep 27, 2015 at 11:32 PM

Windows 10 talk Edited by Imouto on Sep 27, 2015 at 11:32 PM This was all from windows 8 for me. I had to set the permissions and everything like you said. Upgrading from 8.1 to 10 was alright. 7 to 10 seems like something that would be overwhelming. Quote: --- Original message by: DoodleSama Does this mean I can safely upgrade to Windows 10 with both HAC2 and OS coexisiting Btcc? I would be safe and not try that out. I've heard mixed results but have not tried it myself. Edited by Spiral on Sep 28, 2015 at 12:31 AM

I would have downgraded from 10 to 7 by now but I have to reformat my hard drive and then install everything from scratch. My laziness is pretty much the only thing holding me back.

And I'm just sitting here with my Window 8 computer roffeling at your incompatibility woes, windows 8 works just fine with all this crap. It's the 8.1 thing that causes all the errors because it no longer supports .net framework 1.0, however, you can still install it and fix many of these errors by doing this: http://workblog.pilin.name/2013/11/how-to-install-net-framework-11-on.html ^This works on windows 8.1, not sure about 10. I did this before, but I actually like windows 8 so I downgraded when 10 came out. I know for a fact that it enabled me to use HEKPlus and several other programs that were not able to run on windows 8.1 normally, I'm geussing it may help with some Hac problems as well, the trouble with a lot of programs on this site is that they are old and based off the .net 1.0 or 1.1 frameworks which were around when they were being developed but are no longer supported. That is what causing the incompatibility with HAC2 and OS on Windows 8.x/10? brb installing Windows 10 right now to confirm it. (After I make a backup of my current Windows 7 install of course :D) Edited by DoodleSama on Sep 30, 2015 at 12:45 AM Um, I said I tested this out on Windows 8.1, I don't know if it will also work on windows 10, I suppose your about to find out though.

Unless you followed the instructions I gave then there is no way 1.1 or 1.0 is installed, they uninstall when you upgrade to 8.1 or 10 and if you try to reinstall it windows won't let you. It will get most of the way through the installation then roll back the changes at the last moment.
