So I'm working on something to get my feet wet into stuff like scripting. I'm starting on a project that hopefully is going to be released this year (not my primary project, plan on using cmt tagset for this one) but I'm interested in seeing what elements people are interested in seeing. Early on RPG elements were considered in my primary project, but I'm also interested in seeing what else can be explored for CE.

My #1 concern
If I shoot a shielded unit with a sniper rifle, his shields go down. Always. If it's two shots anywhere to break the shield, there is no motivation to get a headshot and no reward for using precision for a precision weapon.

your a really menace as a sniper, you said the same thing in my other thread, but that only applies to minor and mayor, so imagine a zealot dual wield like the last one on hr poa, its suposed to be diffictult

Lumoria had some pretty good AI driving. Although it isnt "h2" they'll get in a vehicle whenever- it was still 8/10 scripted

Hardcore mode where you have to drink, eat, and use the toilet every hour or so or you'll die. Also drugs and an addiction system, where if you have too many drugs you get weak until you have some more. More foliage would be nice, as well as some dynamic day/night cycles, and maybe seasons that change dynamically. How about a function where your family calls every once in a while and you have to answer the phone.

Emotion tracker which replaces motion tracker.

Vulnerability.
Especially the kind of vulnerability that builds real tension into the game, whether its limited health, ala -Darksouls or Bloodborne, or the need for skillful reaction times, like in MGR:R.

Probably a special level where the gameplay isn't so linear. (Players can use terrain, balanced load outs, vehicles, or take advantage over special tools like armor abilities to progress through a level with them all have a balanced aspect, so that the vehicle section will be as hard as the section as if the player on foot. (Like in Crysis 3 where there were different paths to complete a mission, and the stealth or armor modes that would change the tactics.)

Special armor abilities that are very unique would be good
