well here is some ideas 1st I would like a way to have team bipeds like red the is a halo 3 biped and the blue team I would have a halo 2 biped or reach biped just for mp
2nd SPEC and normal maps for the shader environment tag so we can have better looking maps

Ability to switch weapons with friendly AI. Of course this would (should) affect their shooting behavior, which is basically what the AI tag is anyway, so I don't see it happening. It would be nice though.

I saw a video where a player able to switch a weapon from AI. I really wish they had a option for FP leg, hue saturation and chat log for MP. Guys make sure post these to those people who developing OS. I am doing it aswell.

Been wanting this before open sauce was first released. The ability to have 3 detail maps blended with rbg layers instead of a black and white alpha channel.

I don't know if it's possible or not, but I'd love it if a future version of OS could remove the mouse acceleration inherent to the game. I've tried every fix I could find (even a registry edit to flatten out the acceleration curve within Windows itself), nothing works. I'd also like it if the in-game OS settings sliders moved smoothly instead of in large notches, like it was before the latest update. I like the UI, but especially for the weapon position options the notches can make it hard to get exactly what you want. Edited by ReconNinja117 on Mar 4, 2015 at 11:09 AM

Unreal Engine 4 just became completely free as well. Having used it for the past few months myself, I can only heavily recommend it. Blueprints are amazing, while still feeling like programming!

Sounds like you're referring to some type of HDR effect, where the overall scene gets brighter or darker depending on the lighting. Hell, I was happy paying the subscription for it because props to Epic for making such a brilliantly easy-to-use bit of kit and making licensing so approachable. Patching things together in Blueprint and having them just kinda... work was a total revelation for somebody who can't script to save himself. Having built-in Wwise and Fmod Studio support is a total boon for sound stuff as well.

Basically, they are like lights except they project a cubemap onto whatever is inside their radius. This allows for more complex lighting and reflections without actually having lights or reflections. You could, in theory, do a cubemap projection of your scene in max and then import it into Sapien through Aether. But, you can already do proper global illumination using that technique anyway. It'd certainly be a lot easier than coding it into the engine.
