Probably the fact that it's getting close to Thanksgiving (US) and it was supposed to come out in late October, coupled with the fact that it's been sitting on a pittance of things left on this giant list for about a week now with no updates. I can't say I really think it's that horrible an estimate. Mine would be more conservative at around first or second week of December, but they're all just guesses.

Blah blah, done when it's done, be patient, etc. Heard it all before. Stop bumping this thread for whining about its delay, I keep getting excited when I see a new post. But less so each time now :P

Last update was 11/11/2014, And it usually takes them 2 - 3 weeks to update the list, There is maybe one thing they are close to finishing, but there not planning on updating the list until they get more then one thing done, and if it's just the crashed pelican model they have to import and the hunter, I think that's already done or almost done, but probably the main focus there working on is the light maps, which may take awhile, but not too long. So they probably only have one thing to work on which is the Lighting and also Testing the map and making sure it's ready as a final release.

For those of you who can't count, we have 3 items left!

To actually contribute productively to the topic: Will there be a trailer prior to the release? Say, a week or whatever before the map drops. I think something materialistic (that's final & the latest) would help out immensely in sharing and getting word around.

Whining? Where?! I'm only trying to do a non-offical job, keep people updated on the to-do list. Anyways.

I upload videos on YouTube, not because nobody said I have to upload anything, but I do it anyways because I like doing it, I play halo not because people ask me too, but because I like playing Halo. Why do you insist on asking a question like that? Just because nobody says anything, doesn't mean I should stop doing what I do.

It just appeared to me that you felt it necessary to make a percentage post even when everyone could direct themselves to the first page and see for themselves. One click. Seemed redundant to me. Which was why asked you the question.

You didn't have to say I should stop doing it, but the way you said it meant the exact same thing, "If nobody asked you to do this then why do you feel obligated to do it...", That's basically saying I should stop because nobody asked me to do it. You can think it's not important to you or anybody else, but it can be important to some other people because not everyone keeps track of the to-do list on how much is done and what's left. All I did was posted that and Now you decide to ask a question about it for no other reason then to make me feel bad about it.. So what if I posted a percentage and how much is done of of what's left. It's not affecting you or anybody else, don't like it, don't read it.

I think he was just pointing out that all you did in your initial post is repeat information that has already been made available.

I said there's no point in doing it because everybody can do what you achieved in a few clicks. It's repetitive, and repetition is annoying.
It CAN be important to some other people. I suppose you keep a list of people that ignore the to-do list? The to-do list is pretty much the main focus of this thread. Who would ignore it?
My question was genuine. You gave yourself the job of posting to give statistics, when people could very easily have done it themselves. It's all people do in this thread, so I asked you why you post as you do, and you fire back at me acting like I just offended your mother.

Sure, if that's true, then your saying the list is annoying. Also I wasn't the only one who kept giving stats on what we they had left to finish, there were a couple of people who did the same thing, "7 items left!", "5 items left!" and etc. and so on, Not to mention other people on this fourm demanding for the Project to get done faster, and that's more annoying then a simple post telling the Percentage done. And of course out of all those people, you decide to pick on me about it.

I have been here for 4 months now and I have seen many pointless arguments and this is one of them, I just hope Halomaps can change by 2015 if not then something is very wrong.

Barely any clue what you guys are arguing about, but anyone who really wants to know progress can always glance at the first post. It's touching that you're all so eager and it drives the team, I assure you (as well as wanting to get back to their lives again...at least until we reconvene for SPv4 in 2030 after Halo 10/X comes out).

I don't see much of a problem in someone liking Halo and wanting to update others or be updated, but do so cautiously. Quite honestly it's not a big deal to bump the topic and discuss it, no need to get feisty. Just don't start yelling at us to go faster or update. If we haven't said anything it's because there's nothing to say outside of what everyone should already know. I can again assure you that we're aware of the community, but as has always been we're doing as much work as we can in conjunction with our own lives.

Final touches and testing is going around just as we've displayed on the front page. That's all I'll really say. Just wanted to at least say hi and cut out the arguments before Dennis has to get involved again. He's a busy man too, you know.
