Yes that can happen. Why? Because if you don't know what is or is not allowed then you have no business being here. The allowable content is clearly spelled out on the upload page. If you upload something clearly not allowed then you are either doing it maliciously, or are so mentally impaired that you have no business communicating in a public forum.

Rule of thumb: If you think you need to ask if it's allowed then it most likely isn't.

I'm not a hard ass on these things. For example I didn't delete the person who took my website photo and 'shopped in a Hitler like cartoon image. I actually felt pity for him that his world is so defined and impacted by a nobody in a nowhere forum in the corner of the internet.

However, there is a level of decorum expected in any public forum. We don't allow profanity, we do not allow nudity we do not allow insulting or demeaning images or iconography. If you think it is questionable then don't upload it.

I am sure someone will try to slip something past me and I may not find it right away, but I will eventually, and when I do I will excise them and all their posts from the forum with a single click. This is not a boundary to be tested it is a wall. I really don't expect anyone to run it to it. Just don't be the first.

Nothing at all. It happens all the time. Don't forget to clear your cookie cache when you do so. Banning is nothing and not irreversible, deleting that persona's existence from the forum is.
Practicality has nothing to do with it, Decency does. This is a public place and while I have no objection to nudity or even the use of profanity in other places I strongly object to it here. I can and will enforce their restrictions. There are social norms we all live by and just because you are visiting a virtual location does not absolve you from abiding by them.

I knew that there would be a rush to add avatars as all the active members added their favorites but once that ends it will just be an occasional thing.

Part of the update was an overhaul of the back end administration functions so that approving/rejecting them is relatively quick and simple.
