Why Fusion-Coils need to explode? I really hate breakable objects in multiplayer maps.

Because fusion coils are volatile, fragile, explosive barrels. The only reason to have a fusion coil in a map is so it can be blown up, otherwise you could just replace it with any other kind of standard, non-explosive barrel.

Looks great!

Of course, it's up to you, but I wouldn't put in the fusion coils (they don't sync).

I'll host this map till the end of time if the gameplay is as solid as the visuals :P

Ironically I was just wondering what happened to this project. It's good to see you were still working on it and it's even so close to being completed, because it looks much larger than the early build I have from a loooong time ago.

Biggest problem which I told pope is that the ambiance is pretty generic. While the intended feeling of being a stock map is definietly there, it needs something to really stick out. My proposition is to change the skybox and some of the lighting within the map.

This is how I feel after my testing experience:

- A control panel could go here on this wall http://i.imgur.com/BH7QLja.png
- Halo 1 Xbox AR Specular
- The Halo Ring being too close
- Maybe add some Halo 2 Human crates
- Quiet down the sparks a little bit
- Possibly add some small lense flares to each of the lights
- Fix the sniper scope compass thing if possible

That's all I can think of, other than that the map was fun and I really enjoyed the test.

I noticed a few things as well:

- Halo ring does not render when looked at from off-angle
- Thrusters on back of "ship" have odd blue shield effect
- (Not sure what bobsam is talking about but I saw lens flares on the lights)

This was a really solid map as far as gameplay goes. Very well-designed.

rotate 2° the whole map and call it a crashed ship somewhere
And if there is oxygen outside you can add legit flames.

I like how you stayed true to the Halo ce aesthetics. I really like it, granted this i'll never play it upon its release for unknown reasons, probably the social stigma of getting graped by a buffalo, or the misdemeanor of the mexican community residing deep in the rocket servers of halo ce.

There is a difference between a bloom sprite attached to the light and a lense flare.

I think that horrible mods are more likely to happen to maps using stock tagset.

Don't forget the terrible "(h4)" Re-textures of the entire map. lol

Also to expand one my ideas for the map, maybe you could add some new doors to fit your custom doorways? (adds a bit of dynamic cover)

While I haven't tried it,I must say it looks amazing. You stay true to what looks like a classic ce style. Thats great. Oh and also, you are one of few people who has succeeded in making a halo-human style map from scratch. And that is awesome.

Looks great.

Only crit I have:

-Windows look too blue in contrast to the rest of the map
-Lighting seems a little washed-out, could use a little more contrast (those white lights on the ceilings everywhere really flood the hallways, reduce the power mb? - unless this is what you're going for)

I'm going to use that lava idea for another map. I wanted to go for a POA theme with this level, and I'm continuing to stick with it. But the levels skybox did improve overall.
